Albus Dumbledore سوال

Proof, please

Where is the proof of Dumbledore's preference? I'm looking for evidence in the actual story. NOT some random fanfic یا something like that. I know the کتابیں سے طرف کی heart. I have never found evidence ANYWHERE that proves Dumbledore is gay.

But no, it's not really canon. It was a part of the author's imagination that didn't make it into the canon world. Like deleted scenes.

And there is where I leave you. I'm a very strict follower of canon. If it's not in the story, it's not anywhere.

I'm sorry, but it IS part of the canon whether آپ like it یا not. J.K. Rowling has stated in the interview she did with Daniel Radcliffe that sometimes authors know a lot about their characters - مزید than is ever relevant. It never became relevant for Dumbledore's sexual orientation to be mentioned, so it wasn't. Just as Professor McGonagall's life was never mentioned.

If the مصنف has stated it, it means it is generally regarded as "in canon". That's like stating that Percy's children don't exist because they are never mentioned in the book, yet JK Rowling drew up a family درخت with them on it. Also, she put it in the کتابیں so that well-read readers who think outside the box would pick up that he wanted مزید than friendship from Grindelwald.

His relationship with Grindelwald. JK wrote it in such a way that younger readers would think of it as a deep friendship but مزید perceptive readers would see an element of romance. One of the key themes in the book is what people will do for love and Dumbledore's obsession with the 'greater good' was partially fuelled سے طرف کی his blind love for Grindelwald.

There's no evidence within the actual books. JK Rowling didn't want people's opinions of such an influential character to be affected سے طرف کی their opinions about gay rights.

However, I have to point out there is a huge difference between something not being mentioned within the actual books, and something only claimed in fanfiction.
