exactly! :) i just prefer to just stay away from the attacker as much as possible,just hitting from a distance,staying a bit more safer,i guess...well,its just how i am :P

^then wouldn't it be better to be a long-distance attacker? ^^" you know,snipe? i'm pretty sure being a close distance type means being direct and stuff...but heh,i guess you could still do melee like stabbing enemies in the neck using a shiv or something...

^thats what I had in mind (the melee part) cause of its advantage, and sniping would require a lot of concentration and precision, which would be easy to make a mistake.

Not really. :P Honestly,i think you could say the same about melee,like since its a direct attack there could be a bunch of random outcomes,for example,if you made a move that alerted the enemy,then he would either attack or call out to his buddies,at least with sniping they won't know where to attack because the sniper is hiding or could already be sneaking away...but at the same time,the enemy might alert their allies close to the sniper and shoot...all i'm saying is,there are advantages and disadvantages to either one but it also just depends on the circumstances. :P
