A couple days had passed since Kate asked if we could make the trip to Jasper to see her family, and now after having a long talk with dad, it was a green light! First priority was to get the Bronco road worthy for the long drive since my Tacoma pickup was still up at the دکان getting bodywork done. Also I would have to put in a new stero, the stock Ford AM radio was shot and I could not drive over 3,000 miles without tunes! Namely my AC/DC albums and all the other songs on my iPod.
I pulled the Bronco into the lift خلیج, کھاڑی with Kate riding in the passenger seat. She was in anthro form and wearing some old clothing of mine that I didn't care if it got dirty یا not. In the middle of the نشست sat a small box of parts, they consisted of 4 u-joints for both drivelines. Even if the front u-joints were not shot, I wanted them to be solid for this long drive and did not want to be doing any roadside repairs along the way. Also the Bronco would be getting an oil change, and all the fluids in the differentials, and transfer case would be getting checked and replaced if needed. I had flushed the automatic transmission in the spring, and changed the fluid so it was alright for the drive. Automatic transmission fluid is designed to last around 100k miles with regular use. If I used the Bronco to tow regularly, that would have been cut down to about 40k miles.
"Kate, remember what I expect when working in my shop, no goofing off and no being girly!" I laughed, but earlier I had made it very clear to her that working beneath a 5600lb 4x4 was no game, and told her to take it seriously. Kate obliged reluctantly, but I needed her help and if she got a little greasy, there is soap and a hot شاور for that!
"Okay sweetie, I will be a good girl I promise!" Kate assured me.

We got out of the Bronco and I grabbed the box of u-joints before closing my door. I placed the lift arms in the right places on the Bronco's frame and lifted it up in the air, then grabbing all the tools I needed, and going to work. Kate stood under there with me holding a LED دکان light for me to see, and taking quick, nervous glances at all the grease spots, and old dried mud, under the old SUV's chassis. Only thing Kate had to do was hold the light, and once I got the old u-joints loose, keep the driveline from falling on my head یا shoulders. That really hurts, try doing this سے طرف کی yourself sometime! After removing both the u-joints from the rear driveline and helping Kate lower the awkward, heavy thing to the ground, we ducked out from under the truck to inspect them under the دکان lights.
"Yep, they were shot!" I exclaimed, pointing out to Kate how the old needle bearings inside the pivot ٹوپی were all rusty, and virtually fell out into my palm. I hadn't ever greased them which was why this happened most likely. Kate just looked at them in a confused way, I didn't expect her to know any of this, but she seemed facinated to some extent.
"We probably would have made it to Columbia Falls and there would have been a loud bang and we would have either heard a loud scraping noise, یا a clatter and the rear driveline would be rolling down the road behind us and the Bronco would not be going anywhere without it!"
"Yeah, that would not be good at all!" Kate agreed.
"Of course, knowing my luck we would be in a whiteout blizzard یا the temperature would be below zero so fixing it would be really suckish!"
We both shared a laugh on that one, but it was true. Each time آپ get a mechanical problem یا a flat tire out in the middle of nowhere, it will probably either be pouring down rain یا some other severe weather event that just puts a ٹوپی on your whole دن and really piss آپ off!
I set the old u-joints on the work bench and Kate and I returned to working on the Bronco.

Two hours later I was lowering the truck back down from the lift, 4 new u-joints all greased and tight, 5 quarts of Valvoline 10W40 Synthetic oil, and a new Fram PH8A oil filter, plus the differentials and transfercase had been checked and topped off with 90W gear oil. Now all that had to be done was install the new Pioneer stereo I got for it on sale at Radio Shack. That would be easy and less greasy and dirty so it made Kate sigh in relief! I popped the old AM radio out of the dash, probably never been touched since it left the factory either, but it had to go! I had to modify the hole in the dash to accomodate the new stero since the old radio was a dial type. After this, I fitted the new stero in and plugged it into the speaker and antenna wiring outlets.
"That should be all Kate, lets see if this baby works!"
I turned the ignition key on and yep sure enough! The stero lit up and I plugged my iPod in and hit play, AC/DC's "Shook me all night long" echoed throughout the کیبن of the truck.
"Not bad for factory speakers either!" I exclaimed happily. Kate wagged her tail, her eyes glowed in the light of the stero.
"Let's take this baby out for a spin and see how we did Kate!" I کہا going around and opening up the lift خلیج, کھاڑی door. We both got in and I turned the starter over, the powerful Ford 400M V8 roared to life with a throaty rumble that made my spine tingle. I smiled, I loved this old Bronco! Even if it was an automatic!
I dropped the automatic lever down to "R" and to my delight, it did not kick and make a loud clunk like it had in the past! I then backed it out and stopped to close the دکان door, before Kate and I took off out of the driveway and took a drive up قلعہ Creek road above our house. It was a decent climb and the Bronco felt really solid, I stomped the gas pedal to the floor and the truck lurched forward, the motor roaring and throwing us back in our seats, the tires screeched a little on the ashphault as we pelted up the ہل, لندن at around 55mph, 20 over the speed but cops rarely patrolled out here!
"Oh yeah this is so exciting!" Kate exclaimed, "you know I get turned on when آپ do this right?" Kate asked over the sound of the engine.
"Oh I know it Katey girl!" I کہا winking at her. Honestly a good running V8 like this made me hard. It was just a natural reflex I always thought!
We ended up driving all the way around قلعہ Creek road and back onto the مچھلی hatchery highway that allowed me to take it up to 70 and see how it handled, perfect! It steered great and reacted well to being floored since I knew I would need to pass several کشمش, مویز heads on the highway most likely. When we returned ہوم and parked سے طرف کی the back door, Kate and I both exited the Bronco, laughing and poking and prodding each other. So in love we are, this kinda behavior is standard order, even in public we do stuff like this! If we got everthing packed tonight we would be leaving in the morning! I knew I did not need much, but Kate was probably going to be a different story.

After eating رات کے کھانے, شام کا کھانا with Katie, my dad, and the kids, we went to work on packing up. I was packed in 10 minutes, just a medium sized suitcase with 2 weeks worth the clothes, my شاور supplies, and my toothbrush was all I needed, plus my car charger for my phone was already in the Bronco. I also managed to find an old full size mattress in the basement to put in the Bronco in case we got in a bad storm یا broke down and needed to sleep on the side of the road, یا if we flat out couldn't find a place to stay. It was a isolated drive we would be going on after all.
I removed the rear نشست from the Bronco and placed the mattress back there, it fit perfectly! I scrounged around the house some مزید and gathered up some pillows, a couple of wool and cotton blankets as well and put them back there.
Also I made sure to have my survival pack with me. It consisted of all the supplies I needed to survive for one whole week, that along with a good shovel, tire chains, and tow rope, taken from my Tacoma before it went up to the shop. I placed my suitcase on the corner of the بستر behind my seat, I dearly hoped Kate did not think she needed to bring everything she owned with her! Women were always like that it seemed, when my dad and stepmom were still together she regularly took 3 large suitcases with her to go on a two دن trip! I bet she had enough supplies in there for a 2 ماہ trip! I laughed at the memories of how dad would always bicker over her and how she would snap at him for it. So with that in mind I would do my best not to interfere with Kate if she wanted to take lots of stuff with her.
I made my way back inside and found Kate in my room, still in anthro form since she needed to grab and pick things up. To my surprise she had a bag about the same size as mine packed with her anthro clothes, but I knew she would be in feral form for the most part anyway.
"What's cooking good looking?" I asked, leaning on the doorframe to the room and smiling in at her.
"I am almost packed!" Kate sang in a happy voice that always made my دل melt.
I kept smiling as I watched her bustle around the room grabbing stuff and packing it in the bag, her long bushy tail swishing behind her. Finally with little effort she managed to zip it closed and walked up to me. Kate gave me a playful shove to the shoulder and grinned at me mischeiviously.
"You're in my way big boy!"
"Am I know?" I asked, seizing her around the waist and pulling her to me. I planted my lips on hers and made out with her for a few minutes.
"Oh آپ bad boy!" Kate کہا after we quit making out, looking at me with romance gleaming in her eyes.
"I know I am a bad boy Kate, are آپ going to punish me?"
Kate flattened her ears on her head, "hehe آپ just wait and see!"
She then pushed past me and marched down the hall, her beautiful hourglass figure swaying gracefully, and sexily at the same time.

I went to the باورچی خانے, باورچی خانہ and grabbed a root beer, before heading to the living room where Katie and the kids were all watching Legend of the Guardians. I had already seen it with Kate and Katie the night before, we wanted to make sure it was kid proof! It was a decent movie, but I felt lost in it for some reason, also I hated Kludd for betraying his brother and family. Both LaDonna and Jon Junior were captivated سے طرف کی the crystal clear display on the TV and the wonderful sound effects from the Bose ہوم theater system, Katie looked bored sitting on the سوفی, لٹانا and so I strode over there and sat اگلے to her, putting my arm around her.
"What's up sweetheart?" I asked, kissing her cheek.
Katie looked at me and blinked her lavender eyes, before she spoke.
"Bored shitless to be honest."
"Thought so," I laughed. "Are آپ sure آپ can handle them both while Kate and I are gone?" I asked.
"Oh yes, and besides, between your dad and Stormy, they will always have eyes out for them!" Katie responded giving me a lustful lick on the face. In return I kissed her back, this time on the lips. Her breath was hot and I knew she was horny right now. I just hoped that tonight I could satisfy her well enough to get her through until we came back.
I had it all planned out too, once the kids were asleep Kate, Katie and myself were gonna go for a good romp in my bed. Kate was going to let Katie have her way though, she could get me for as long as she wanted. I felt bad that she could not come with us, but I just shuddered to think what would happen if dad and Stormy were the only ones watching our kids. For one dad could be really spacey and would sleep in sometimes until 3 یا later in the afternoon, and Stormy was a good godmother, but she was not really seen as an authority figure سے طرف کی the kids. So they (namely Junior) would probably take advantage of her kindess to get what they wanted. Stormy was really kind and I doubt she would say "no" to them even if it was on her deathbed!
Me and Katie's make out session came to an abrupt halt when LaDonna noticed and did the whole.
"Eww Mommy and Daddy are kissing again!" Routine, she was such a funny girl at times! For an Alpha that was unique, Junior was an Omega, the playful and wreckless sort! He was a good boy though and we loved him so much.

When The Legend of the Guardians ended, the kids were put to بستر in my brother's old room in the basement. It consisted of two twin beds and a couple of small dressers. Pefect place for the kids since it was downstairs and they could not hear any "noises" coming from mine, Kate, and Katie's bedroom!
The guy that built the house back in the 50s was a hardcore road construction company owner and he layered all the floors with about 5" of concrete! He had built up a reputable reputation for pouring the best concrete slabs the town ever saw! Also he was the reason why we had such a great big دکان too, at one time it was used as a wash خلیج, کھاڑی as well as a place to repair all the big, heavy earth movers and steam rollers that were used for his road construction company.
After the kids were tucked in and after I told them a bedtime story, I was led back to the bedroom سے طرف کی my two very sexy, and seductive girls...
