Chapter 1: Two Alphas Meet

It was a stormy night. Rex, an Alpha wolf, was walking through the forest. It was raining hard , lightning struck in the distance, and thunder was very loud. Rex looked up at the sky. A stuck lightning startled him.

Chapter 2: Moonlight Howl

It was the full moon. Kate and Humphrey were getting ready for the Moonlight howl. They both came out of the den.

"Ok." Humphrey responded. Then, they both left. Rex got ready and left.

Later…

He walked up the path and found a good spot. Everyone was howling at the moon. Rex took a breath and howled at the moon. When he howled at the moon, everyone would شامل میں him. After a few minutes, Rex went to the river for a drink. Then, Kate and Humphrey walked up to him.

"That was a great howl." Kate said.

Chapter 3: Alone

Kate and Humphrey found Rex. He was lying in a den, singing a song quietly.

"No. Just leave me alone." He replied.

"Then, why are آپ upset?" Kate asked.

"Why would anyone want to go with me?" Rex asked himself.

"Everyone thinks I'm…uh…different. No one asks me to howl with them. I'm so alone." Rex کہا as he looked at the ground. He walked out of the ماند, خلوت خانہ in deep sorrow.

He jumped onto a flat rock. He took a deep breath, and howled. He howled in an angelic sound, but he had sorrow in his voice. Humphrey and Kate left, feeling bad for Rex.

Chapter 4: Injured

Rex was stalking two caribou. Kate was doing the same. Rex attacked and started chasing the caribou and Kate followed.

All of a sudden, a stampede of caribou started running. Kate took cover behind a log. Rex jumped over the log, but his leg hit a big stick and he hit the ground, face and leg first.

"Ahhhh!" He screamed in pain. He broke his leg. He was spitting blood from his bloody mouth. He stood back up, his broken leg shaking, his mouth bleeding. He growled and grunted as he took seven hits and he was still standing. After the stampede was gone from sight, Rex collapsed to the ground.

"Rex!" Kate yelled as she ran to his side. Humphrey came running to them.

"Kate, what's wrong? I heard screaming." He کہا before looking at Rex. "What happened to Rex?" He asked.

"He broke his leg while running from a stampede. He stood back up and took seven hits. Then, he fell down. Let's get him to the den." Kate explained. They took Rex to the den.

Chapter 5: Howl With Friends

Rex opened his eyes. He looked around to see where he was.

"Where am I?" He asked himself. Then, Kate and Humphrey walked in.

"Rex! You're awake!" Kate exclaimed. Rex looked at her.

"How long was I out?" He asked, resting his leg.

"About a week." Humphrey answered.

"Tonight's the full moon. Are آپ going?" Kate asked.

"No. I should rest my leg." Rex responded. Then, they both left.

Later, Rex looked at the moon. He liked the way it shined on the Earth when the sky had darkened when the sun had set. He liked the stars in the night sky and the way they brightened the sky and the way they went out, like a million little candles.

He took a deep breath and howled as loud as he could. Kate and Humphrey saw Rex howling. They sat اگلے to him and howled with him. Rex opened his eyes and saw them and smiled. Then, they stopped.

Chapter 7: Leaving

Kate walked up to Rex. He was looking over the valley. He turned around and looked at her.

"Beautiful view, isn't it?" She said, looking at the valley.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I'm leaving the park for a while. I want to explore." He said.

"You're leaving? Will آپ come back?" She asked. He looked at her with a smile.

"I'll be back. I promise. Goodbye." He said.

"I'll see آپ later." Kate responded. Rex started walking away in the sunset. He started singing a song.

"Where's Rex?" He asked as she looked at him.

"He left the park. He'll be back." She answered.
