I don't think she was always the best part of the show, but the show definitely has not been the same quality since she left.

Cult and Hotel are up there with Asylum for the best season. And while I love Lange as an actress, Ryan was not always giving her top notch material (her FS character sucked)

I like the later seasons. I only dislike Freak Show and Apocalypse. Jessica Lange is a god but so are Ryan Murphy, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters <3333
