I love the other one too- there is such a connecion between them although they aren't in the same place - but to see anakin's failure and Padme trying to comfort him ... <3

To be angry is to be human: I know there were a lot of people (off here) who complained about Padme showing Anakin compassion in that scene when he "seemed" to not have earned it, but then again, that's the whole point of STAR WARS (amongst many. :): compassion is for everyone, no matter who they may be. Plus, Natalie and Hayden were excellent in that scene (as always).

Anakin's Decision: Just beautifully shot, beautifully executed, beautifully...everything all around. :)

Ani's decision was a total turning point for his relationship with Padme. It defined both his destiny and hers. The dramatic irony of the entire scene was beautifull captured, as well. Ani though that he was doing the best, most noble thing for Padme...but his mind was clouded by the Dark Side. Padme, who was not corrupted by such evil, knew better, thus their relationship inevitably crumbled. Yet, despite all this chaos, their passionate love for each other remained constant every single day after Padme's tragic death. I'm positive Ani never forgot holding his beloved Padme in his arms. That's why I love this scene...it's when everything EXCEPT their love for each other ends.
