Otonashi watched as Kanade disappeared, his arms felt lighter, less warm - His دل pounded, as he realised just how much he was going to miss her. Tears rolled down his cheeks.

'Goodbye, Kanade Tachibana... I love you! With all of my heart!!!'

What do I do now? I have so many people to help, but I feel so... Alone...

-Time Passes-

Otonashi walked down the corridor, until he left the block of classrooms and headed towards the vending machine. He decided to grab an iced coffee. Days had passed since Kanade and the others had disappeared. He felt like a piece of him was missing and he was drowning. Mostly, he missed the laughter and fun times that had come with the SSS members, but, most especially, the bond that had been established with Kanade.

Suddenly, a person appeared, crashing to the ground, landing on their backside. It was a slightly younger guy, who looked tough. He had slicked back, dark hair, that probably would have been messy if it hadn't been styled. He stood up, looked at Otonashi, then glanced around, looking somewhat confused.

'Hey, you! Where am I, what's going on?!' the boy yelled at him.

Otonashi sighed and walked to him. 'You're dead. This is the Afterlife... I can help you, if آپ want. آپ can pass on and...'

He was interrupted, rudely. 'No way in hell! if this is the Afterlife, then I'm truly dead, and if I'm truly dead, then I want revenge! God is the one that chose to make my life the way it turned out and if this is the Afterlife, then God must obviously exist, otherwise this place would be a hoax. You, can آپ help me find God?'

Otonashi sighed again. 'I can try, but it won't be easy. The last people I was دوستوں with were trying to take revenge on him, the SSS. They weren't successful and I helped them to pass on...'

The boy shook his head. 'That is irrelevant. I WILL find him and exact my revenge. I don't care about passing on. Are آپ going to help me, یا not?'

'I'll try. That's about as much as I can promise.'

Otonashi showed him around, wondering what this boy's story was. It was clear that something bad had happened to him, if he harbored such resentment against God.

'Sorry, but I never asked your name...' Otonashi directed at the other boy.

'Hmmm... It's Shusuke... Shusuke Kinamori... And, yours?'

Otonashi blanked out, then realised Shusuke was waving his hand past his face, back and forth. 'Oh, sorry. It's Otonashi. Yuzuru Otonashi.'

'Well, I guess it's a pleasure to meet you. Hopefully, you'll be able to help me find that bastard, God.'

Man, this is going to be tough. How do آپ find God? Does he even exist in the way that we think he does?

'So, what happened to you?' Otonashi asked, conversationally.

'I was made an orphan when my parents died. The Yakuza's adopted me... The Elder of one of the major families. They were horrible to me, but I survived for a long time and picked up many martial arts and learned to use guns. But, I hated it there. That bastard made me call him, 'Dad'. He can go f**k himself. He had me killed when I ran away. I was almost on the plane to Osaka, but they found me... So, here I am. F**king DEAD!!!'

Otonashi was shocked. It sounded like he had a horrible life when he was alive.

'Well, we'll try and find God, and then آپ can get your revenge...'

I don't want to do this... But, I swore that I'd help people, and I will, even if it's isn';t something I feel comfortable with!
