Wizart’s ‘Snow Queen’ to Get Third Installment 

With Hollywood voice talent to be announced at AFM, the third installment in the CG-animated Russian film franchise is set to roll out worldwide in 2016.

The new CG animated adventure is being produced with a budget of $15 million, and is set to roll out worldwide in 2016.

Hollywood voice talent is due to be announced in the fall at AFM, producer Yuri Moskvin told

. “With each new project we are trying to go to a whole new level,” Moskvin reportedly said. “We are increasing the level of production and marketing, and bringing famous scriptwriters and cast on board.”

The decision to produce a third movie comes after the success of the first two features in the franchise by the Moscow- and Voronezh-based animation studio. 

 have reached combined box-office revenue of $25 million, with more international releases due for both films this year.

Entertainment One has picked up U.S. and Canadian rights (English- and French-speaking) to the 3D
