nope. he can't see like toph, and unless he becomes blind i don't think he ever will be able to metalbend. just like lightning and bloodbending.

Nah, Aang is a jack in all trades, and a master in Air. Everyone else has some special ability in their element, it should stay that way.

Oh he definitly will. They're about to have a ton of time on teh their hands after the Day ob Black Sun.And remember, everything comes easier to Aang, so even if Toph is the greatest earthbender in the world, he should be able to learn.

Aang was shown to be able to see like Toph (during practice and against Ozai). It's a possibility that, given enough practice, he'll be able to bend metal.

Agree with ClayWest. he was able to see like Toph (maybe not as good)but still. and theres nothing really bad about metalbending unlike bloodbending. i say it would be ok if he learns it but Toph will always be the 1st person and in my opinion the best EarthBender

That is Toph's special gift

It's not impossible for him to learn it, but it was Toph's blindness that enabled her to learn the technique so it would be hard for someone without her enhanced skills to 'feel the earth' to learn.
