Is anyone going to buy a blueray dvd player just because of Avatar's coming out on DVD?

This is a good question!!! But to me the added technology isn't worth it right now! But I will buy the DVD because it's an awesome movie!!!

I have a PS3. It has a build-in blue ray! I will be buying the combo of DVD and blue-ray in one package. ~YAY~

I thought about asking my parents, but then I realised that it could potentially involve buying a 3D TV. Buying the TV would then involve upgrading our entire entertainment system and buying 3D glasses for all of the family - and then there's the health matters. I am already myopic, and even though my myopia is hereditary, my eyesight at the moment is far worse than my sister's when she was my age. My father's short-sightedness wasn't even apparent until he was یونیورسٹی age; mine kicked in when I was about nine. Plus, I saw the movie in 3D three times at the cinema - I'm perfectly content with a 2D DVD...as long as I'm the one that owns it.

PS: This answer is سے طرف کی no means a way of downgrading 3D TV for anyone else. Although I am personally against it, I'm not trying to change the opinions of others.
