Avril Lavigne has been very busy since her last album came out. She کہا on her blog that her record company involuntarily forced her to take a bit of a hiatus since they delayed the release of her album. She finished her album over a سال پہلے and tried her hand a producing tracks herself.

Record companies do make choices about which artists to promote and how much to put into those promotions from one سال to the next. The reasons for the delay might be anything from competition with similar artists on the same label یا planning to compete against another company’s similar artist. Of course, record companies also want to win Grammy Awards, so releases be timed for Grammy contention.

She’s always portrayed a “get real” kind of aura. She took advantage of the time to launch a skater-punk clothing line for girls called Abbey Dawn. She also started her own philanthropic foundation which partners with The Make A Wish Foundation, Easter Seals, and The Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis. She chose organizations that specifically assist children and youth; the general age of most of her fans. It’s a confusingly interesting mix between her rebellious anthems and her interest in helping those less fortunate.

Helping the needy goes against the grain of most people who seem to celebrate being into things only to please themselves. A punky rebel girl getting into philanthropy might inspire kids to get involved who wouldn’t otherwise think about it. This seems to be part of the point. She wrote about taking part in a conference for the Clinton Global Initiative. Most people think of her rock سٹار, ستارہ excesses; but this is her real heart. The sarcasm from her blog post about her record company is completely gone.
