Please note Stephenie Meyer didn't even make their honorable mention. I don't agree with ALL these choices, but I do agree with that.

Of course Tolkien is #1. Naturally.

I'm honestly not sure how Robert E Howard made #2. Sure, he created Conan, which spawned numerous representations of the character in many different medias but his writing isn't all that great. I think he should have been much lower on the list.

Yeah I think L Frank Baum should have been in there somewhere, instead of honorable mention... not to mention CS Lewis. There are some flaws in the list, for sure.

But yeah. Of course Tolkien is number one. And Pratchett is number three which makes me happy.
