NOTE: The following story was written for a good friend of mine. I wanted to clear this up for those who are wondering. Enjoy the story.
Everyone was having a splendid دن at a large gathering. Li and Felicia were sitting on a couch, talking and sharing a little appetizer. They were like a couple of love birds and everyone who noticed watched with smiles. Even Sakura’s دوستوں couldn’t believe how close they were. “Do آپ find it strange Sakura?” Nikki asked. She looked at her with a little confusion. “What do آپ mean?” “You know, about them.” Sakura noticed them and finally understood what she meant. “No, it’s not awkward at all. I mean, they are my دوستوں so why should it be?” Chelsea giggled a little as she said, “Besides, you’ve got Kasey on your mind.” Poor Sakura blushed completely.
Speaking of Kasey, he was busy talking to Sakura’s brother, Tori and his best friend, Julian. “How’s work coming for آپ guys?” Kasey asked. Tori sighed as he responds that there wasn’t much work shifting at the moment. Julian however tried brightening the moment سے طرف کی implying that it would come to them soon. Both he and Kasey chuckled a little; while Tori just stood there not saying a word. Sakura soon approached and pulled on Kasey’s shirt. “Kasey, I need to talk to آپ privately for a moment please.” Kasey looked at her and followed her to a private part of the house.
“Everyone’s talking about Li and Felicia,” Sakura said. “It’s kind of embarrassing.” Kasey’s eyebrows raised a little as he didn’t quite understand what she was implying. “Sakura, آپ can’t blame them for loving each other. After all, they’ve been hiding their feelings for quite a while and it’s starting to show. Even if everyone notices it’s not like it’ll bother us یا anything. It just means they’re surprised. آپ understand?” Sakura thought it over and smiled a little as she nodded. “Thanks Kasey. You’re so wise.” He chuckled as he thought her flattery was funny. But it wasn’t much of a joke as it was true. He however didn’t understand. They then got back to the party.
Felicia and Li were still together on the couch. They hadn’t moved یا left for minutes. “Felicia,” Li کہا as he tried not spilling his drink. “I think we really should stop. We have to be social.” Felicia stared at him with a smile. “But of course. I do love آپ after all.” He blushed a tad after what she کہا and slowly got up from the chair while helping her up. As they managed to get through the crowd, someone was watching them not far away.
He was a young boy, about Li’s age but wore glasses and had dark, black hair. He was revealed to be Eli, another friend of Sakura’s. He’s often considered mysterious due to his power and skills as a sorcerer and user of magic. Also another descended of Clow Reed and expert of the Clow cards he holds the key to knowledge for both Sakura and Li’s case.
What was puzzling him however was the fact that both Li and Felicia were together. It wasn’t really known why he held such interest, but it was apparently interesting to him. Going through the crowd he managed to find Sakura and Kasey. “Hi guys.” He said. They both turned and were surprised to find him standing near them. “Well hi Eli.” Kasey said. “Yes, hello to آپ too,” Sakura کہا as she smiled. “Are آپ having fun?” “Yes, I am,” Eli respond. “But I wanted to talk to آپ guys about something.” They looked at him with a little concern as they also looked at each other for only a سیکنڈ before returning their attention to him. “Could آپ please tell me about that girl and Li?”
“Oh, آپ mean Felicia and him?” Sakura asked. He nodded in response. “Well, they’ve only been together for a few months but all in all they make a great couple. Why do آپ ask?” Eli responds that he didn’t have a دیا reason and just turned and left. Sakura watched as he walked away with a little confusion. “I’ve gotta be honest Sakura,” Kasey said. “That boy freaks me out.” Sakura turned and got a little agitated for what he said. “I’m sorry, but it’s true. I think he might be plotting something here.” “You mean as in planning some test?” Sakura asked. While it probably wasn’t accurate, he did nod to that.
When night fell all over Reedington, a particular house stood somewhere within the town. It was a large complex that looked like an old, English mansion- though it wasn’t very large. Inside, it was quite dark as only one candle shined in the large living room. Eli was sitting in a fancy chair; while a young girl, named Ruby, was sitting on a سوفی, لٹانا that sat across from the chair. Sitting on a coffee میز, جدول in-between them was a small, black colored creature that looked a lot like Kero but was different from not only the colors but shape of the face, ears, and tail. It was revealed to be another guardian beast named Spinner and is considered to be Eli’s personal helper.
“How did it go at that party?” Spinner asked. Eli smiled as he respond, “It went quite well- and very interesting.” Both Spinner and Ruby looked at him with confusion. “Whatever do آپ mean سے طرف کی “interesting”?” Ruby asked. Eli then gotten up and walked towards a window close by. “It’s about Li and that girl,” He کہا as he continued staring out. “I just can’t get passed the fact that they are together when it truly doesn’t fit.” Through his talking both Spinner and Ruby grew overly concerned. “Why do آپ think it’s not right?” Ruby asked as she walked towards him. “I mean, I don’t know this girl myself but if it doesn’t feel right to آپ why does it concern you?”
Eli didn’t actually know why it concerned him. He just had the feeling that they didn’t fit as a couple. “If you’re implying what I think you’re implying than that is barbaric and the wrong way to go.” Spinner exclaimed. Eli at first was confused سے طرف کی what Spinner meant, but after a سیکنڈ he then knew. “Don’t be silly Spinner. I’m not that brutal to stoop up to something like that. If anything, I just want to know whether they truly belong together and I think I know just how to do it.” “Pardon me, but what are آپ thinking of doing?” Ruby asked. Eli explained it as if it were simple- he was going to “test” their feelings in a series of magical trances which he used to do to Sakura when she became Master of the Clow. Ruby and Spinner smiled as they agreed to his plan.
On the following day, everyone was in the school. Kasey was teaching class; while Felicia was currently coaching in the gymnasium. Life seemed to be going well- that is until Eli’s plan to test both Li and Felicia’s feelings would soon be underway. Right after the first half of the hour, Li was getting himself a drink from a drinking fountain. Eli was hiding behind a corner, waiting for the right moment to activate his trick. Felicia soon passed him and when the moment was right he nodded and the water coming from the فاؤنٹین, چشمہ suddenly spewed all over Li’s face. Sense he didn’t react on time, he had less hope of escaping and was nearly breathless. Everyone within the hallway watched as they did nothing. Felicia however quickly turned and managed to get him out from the fountain. “Are آپ alright?” She asked as she used her cloth to wipe his face. Li didn’t answer but moaned a little.
Eli’s reaction was intrigued. “So she acted out just when he was being breathless,” He کہا in his mind. “That’s one way to see how they feel. Now onto the اگلے test.” Later on, Li and Melin were having lunch outside together- something they don’t ever get to do much anymore. Because of this, Melin was going to make this the best lunch moment ever and even went through the trouble in cooking something special for Li. “Look what I made for you!” She کہا with happiness. Opening the lid, a very delicious mix of food was inside. Li’s reaction was impressive. “Did آپ do this on your own? یا did someone help you?” “Of course I did سے طرف کی myself,” Melin gloated. “Besides I’ve gotten a lot better at cooking than آپ think. Now open wide.” Li felt humiliated, but for her sake he did it anyway.
Not far from them, Sakura, Madison, and their دوستوں were also having lunch together. They watched Li and Melin eating together happily. “It seems like she finally has some alone time with him for this moment.” Madison giggled. Everyone agreed. Sakura however remained a little quite as something was on her mind. “What’s wrong Sakura?” Rita asked as a look of concern filled her face. “Are آپ okay?” Sakura quickly reacted to her question, shook her head a little, and smiled. “I’m fine.” Everyone pretty much looked at her as if they knew she was faking. Even Madison did.
Once lunch was over, Sakura and Madison managed to have some time alone. “Are آپ really fine Sakura?” Madison asked. She sighed as she let a little frown and slightly looked at the ground. “Something about yesterday troubled me,” She said. “It’s something Eli told me and Kasey.” Madison was a little surprised and listened to what she explained. “Oh,” She said. “So, Kasey assumes he’s up to something?” Sakura nodded in response. “And I honestly don’t know if I should believe him یا not.” There really wasn’t a rational solution to this problem because it could’ve gone either direction. Madison however did have a proper idea. “Why don’t we keep an eye on both of them? This way we can find out if he is really up to something.” Sakura wasn’t really the type of girl to sneak یا spy on others, but sense Li and Felicia meant so much to her there wasn’t much of a choice.
In agreement to their plan, both Sakura and Madison did everything they could to keep a close eye on both Li and Felicia while also being wary of what’s going on around them. Luckily there was no strange activity. But it wasn’t until a few سیکنڈ later when something suddenly occurred. They heard a scream coming from a nearby shack and ran to it. As they entered, they were shocked to find Felicia lying on the ground holding her left ankle. She twisted it for unknown causes. “Please help me up!” She wailed. Both Sakura and Madison lifted her and slowly carried her out. Everyone in her class gathered as they chanted with concern. Not far away, Eli was standing there alone and watched.
Felicia was in the nurse’s office. Her ankle was wrapped up with a bandage and was properly cared for. Both Sakura and Madison stood سے طرف کی her side the entire time. After the nurse cared for it, she explained the results which were that it wasn’t broken یا too messed up and that it would heal in a couple of days. The news was good indeed but of everyone Sakura felt overly concerned. Just then, Kasey entered and caught his breath as he approached the nurse بستر Felicia was resting on. “Is everything okay?” He asked as he continued saving his breath. Felicia simply giggled as she gently touched his right hand. “Everything’s alright,” She respond. “The nurse کہا it wasn’t too bad and that it would heal in a couple of days.” He managed to feel relaxed after hearing that. He stayed with her, Madison, and Sakura for a while until the hours were almost up. “I guess I’ll pick آپ up in a few minutes.” Kasey کہا as he chuckled and headed out of the room. Felicia laughed as she said, “Yeah, sure.” After leaving, Sakura excused herself as she wanted to talk to Kasey. Madison chose to stay with Felicia while she was away. Sakura nodded before leaving the room. A look of concern filled Madison’s face as she wondered what would come of things. Felicia meanwhile noticed her expression and asked what was wrong to at which she quickly reacted and told her it was nothing.
Sakura eventually caught up with Kasey. After catching her breath, she asked if they would go somewhere private. Luckily Kasey’s classroom was already empty and decided to head there. As they were nearing the room, they suddenly noticed Eli from a few feet away, already passing سے طرف کی a corner. Kasey کہا he had a chilly feeling in his body. Although it was hard to admit Sakura did as well. After shutting the door, Kasey turned to her and asked what was wrong. She let out a big sigh as she looked downward a little. “I think آپ were right about Eli,” She started. “I do believe he is plotting something. But what I don’t understand is why Felicia?” Kasey’s expression soon changed. “Say what again?” Poor Sakura couldn’t have the courage to say it again. “Do آپ honestly think he’s after Felicia یا something? That can’t be. I mean, she does possess magical abilities but it’s not “that” huge for anyone like him to get into.” “I don’t think that’s it Kasey,” Sakura exclaimed. “He’s not after her for power. It’s something else. But if only we knew what it was.” It was a moment of hard thinking for them as they tried putting their minds to work. For the اگلے few seconds, they couldn’t come up with anything. It wasn’t too long however when Kasey suddenly found something. “Do آپ think he’s testing Li and Felicia’s feelings?”
Sakura’s expression was filled with surprise and confusion. “Testing their feelings? Why would he do that?” “Think about it Sakura,” Kasey exclaimed. “We all knew why he used all of that magic on you- so that he could see how آپ handle the Clow cards.” She never considered that, but it was still hard to believe. However there were no other solutions and that “if” it was true then both Li and Felicia would probably be in deeper trouble. “So what do آپ think we should do?” Sakura asked. “It’s simple really,” Kasey responded. “We’re just going to have to work together to keep an eye on them. As far as we know Eli’s work is soon to be done anyway.”
Just then, Sakura remembered something very important. “We have to get back to the nurse’s office.” She said. Kasey didn’t understand why, but he didn’t want to argue and followed. سے طرف کی the time they arrived they were shocked to find Madison and the nurse lying on the floor. “Madison!” Sakura shouted as she kneeled near her. When she lifted her up, she suddenly realized she was only asleep. “The nurse is asleep too.” Kasey کہا as he helped her up. Then, a little laugh was heard and they quickly turned their heads to find Eli standing on the window and carrying Felicia on his arms.
“What are آپ doing?!” Kasey exclaimed. “It’s simple really,” Eli respond. “I’m just giving a little test is all. A test of passion.” Both Sakura and Kasey had confusion on their faces. “Test of passion?” Sakura asked. Eli nodded. “It’s supposed to be for Li and this girl. I have to admit that things went smoothly. Now the time has come for me to make the final move.” Kasey’s face was soon filled with anger. “Tell us what you’re planning to do! آپ better not hurt her آپ hear?!” Eli chuckled and then laughed. “Hurt her? Now why would I ever do a thing like that? Nonsense! I’m just going to take her somewhere secretive and put Li on his turn for the test. Simple as that. And one مزید thing- I’ll leave some company behind to deal with آپ two so that آپ won’t interfere with the test.” Just then, Li and Melin arrived and gasped in surprise. “What’s going on here??” Melin asked. Li didn’t say anything, but rather stared at Felicia with shock. His attention then drew to Eli, which was quickly changed to anger.
“Oh Li. How nice of آپ be here.” “Cut it out Eli!” Li shouted. “What do آپ think you’re doing with her??” Eli looked down at Felicia’s face for a سیکنڈ and then returned his attention back to him. “I suppose I can reveal my plan to آپ now.” Li and Melin’s faces were both filled with confusion. However, Eli managed to explain everything including the incidents revolving the water فاؤنٹین, چشمہ and how Felicia twisted her ankle. Hearing it made Li even angrier. “You not only tried drowning me but آپ were responsible for her getting hurt??? What kind of person are you?!” Both Melin and Sakura tried calming him. Eli could only smile. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to take my hostage here to a sacred place. Remember Li: This is a test to prove your desire and passion for this girl. Either آپ come, rescue her, and prove your feelings. یا آپ can fail and admit آپ don’t deserve her. The choice is yours. See آپ soon.” And with that, he and Felicia quickly vanished.
Li slumped on his knees. His face was completely covered سے طرف کی darkness as it wasn’t shown how he felt. The entire room became quite. Sakura tried comforting him, but he slapped her hands with force that it hurt her. Kasey quickly reacted to this. “I know this is upsetting you, but don’t think آپ can take it out on Sakura یا all of us!” He still didn’t respond but rather stood still. With his anger unleashed, Kasey grabbed him, turned him around, and got a little close to his face. “Stop being such a ھٹی, ترش puss! آپ heard what he said! He wants to see how آپ really feel about her! Don’t آپ get it?? He’s not going to hurt her یا anything! Just get out there, save her, and prove to him your feelings for her are true!!!” Sakura tried pulling him back. His strength however was too much for her to pull. Melin then tuned in and helped her out. They were both able to get him away from Li.
He continued staring downward, not saying a single word. Just then Madison and the nurse awoke. “What happened?” Madison yawned as she rubbed her right eye. Sakura was surprised to see her awake and quickly helped her up. Kasey and Melin also helped the nurse up. “I think I need to quit working overtime.” The nurse sighed. Kasey, Melin, Sakura, and Madison smiled as they stared at her. Li however was too depressed to care. Their attention was eventually drawn back to him. “Listen Li,” Sakura کہا as she walked to him. “It’s true what Kasey said. Eli isn’t going to torcher یا hurt Felicia. He’s only doing all of this to see how آپ really feel about her. Just be yourself and go out there and save her okay? We’re all here for آپ as a team and we will always be سے طرف کی your side.” Li was surprised سے طرف کی what she said. He looked up at her face as a little smile filled it. After thinking for a few seconds, he managed to get a smile but eventually changed to a serious expression as he was ready for another journey. “I want to come too!” Melin exclaimed. Everyone turned to her. “Um, as much as we love for آپ to come we’re afraid it’ll be too much. آپ understand right?” Kasey کہا as he tried not to sound too sensible. Though she was crushed, she did understand a little. After wishing them luck she watched as they jumped out the window and quickly left the school grounds. “Please be careful آپ guys.” She کہا quietly while still staring at the distance.
منٹ had passed and everyone was well underway. Kasey, who was now a giant African elephant, was charging through the barren streets of downtown Reedington. On his back were Sakura, Madison, Kero, and Li. Poor Kero was hanging on for dear life as he gripped against Sakura’s shoulder. “Could آپ kindly tell him to slow down!!!” He exclaimed. Sakura کہا that he couldn’t sense they were in a hurry to get to wherever Eli was. Madison was busy filming. Li however was hanging on tightly as his face was still filled with seriousness. He was going to do everything in his soul to make sure Felicia was safe- even if it meant risking his own life.
After a long, long run through the city, they stopped سے طرف کی پینگوئن, پیںگان Park. After everyone got off him Kasey returned to his normal, human form. “Let’s start exploring,” Li said. “He could be anywhere.” Luckily, they didn’t need time to تلاش as the ground started shaking violently. Everyone got down quickly and near them a large tower started to appear out of the ground. Everyone wowed and gazed at the size and style of the tower. When it stopped, Eli’s voice was then heard. “Hello everyone,” He کہا as he looked down at them. “I’m so glade آپ could make it. This is the final portion of the test- a test to prove the love and passion between Li and his lover. Will they be together یا not? Let’s start to find out.” Everyone stared at him as they were ready for whatever was afoot. Li then shouted as he quickly headed for the tower. Sakura called his name, but it was too late as three large-sized beasts suddenly appeared in front of the tower. Poor Sakura screamed as she ran and hid behind Kasey.
“What are آپ doing Sakura?!” Kasey asked. She pushed against him as she started to weep. Kasey understood and decided he would try to protect her. Kero however transformed into his true form and کہا he would take care of them. “But Kero,” Kasey exclaimed. “We’re supposed to be fighting together!” “I understand that!” He shouted as he was flying. “But with Sakura cuddling behind آپ now there’s no chance of that happening right now! I’ll distract them for a while and then آپ both come in!” Kasey understood, but convincing Sakura to fight was easy کہا than done. He just needed a little time to مکھن her courage. “Listen Sakura,” He started. “I know you’re scared of battling giant monsters and creatures but آپ do understand we’re a team right? We must work together to deal with our fears.” Sakura continued to sulk, but listening to him did give her the courage. He went on and on until he finally managed to get it all back. She then chanted the Clow incantation and her wand appeared. She used a Clow card against one the beasts to at which it took full effect. Kasey cheered her on, but couldn’t do it for too long as it was now his turn to fight.
While everyone was fighting outside, Li had already made it inside the tower. He looked around hoping to find traces of where Felicia could be. It was then Eli appeared on the سیکنڈ floor to the right and told him that the way to where she was kept was on this side. Growling with anger, Li quickly ran the stairs and managed to make it to the floor just after Eli disappeared. “Quit playing around!” He shouted. A faint echo soon followed which was Eli’s voice. He said, “This way.” Li quickly followed the echoes until he came face to face with a vicious guardian who was guarding the door that lead to where Felicia was kept. “None shall pass through here!” The guardian exclaimed. “Unless آپ desire feelings for that maiden in there!” Li was so angered سے طرف کی what the guardian کہا that he used is lazin board to summon thunder which struck the giant on his left arm. It didn’t do much damage however and only caused a slight bruise. “You’re a tough little guy,” He chuckled. “But not tough enough!”
The guardian then used his club to strike Li, but missed سے طرف کی a fair shot. Concentrating on getting his weapon unstuck he wasn’t aware of Li performing another attack with his board and struck the guardian on the forehead, causing him to collapse. Li landed on his knee and hand as he quickly got back up and stared at the passed out guardian. He then walked on سب, سب سے اوپر of him as he made his way to the door. There was nothing مزید the guardian could do sense he had been defeated. However, he was surprised سے طرف کی the boy’s strength and knew straight on his passion was far مزید powerful than anything.
Back outside, Kero, still in his true form, was terribly bruised. Madison quickly ran to help him, but he insisted she stayed back. “Those beasts will get آپ if they realize you’re here,” He moaned. “I will not allow آپ to get harmed.” She was surprised سے طرف کی his words and smiled as she carefully helped him up. Then, a loud boom was heard in which they both turned to the scene. Kasey had just bashed one of the beasts with a large درخت as he was a large type of Sasquatch. “Sorry about that,” He chuckled as a sweat drop appeared on his head. “Gotta little carried away.” They sighed with relaxation. Sakura had also just finished the other beast, which meant they were finished fighting for now. Now all that was left was for the hope of Li finding Felicia and that Eli would be satisfied with the results from what he sees.
As Li slowly entered the room, he could see Felicia sleeping on a simple chamber. He quickly rushed to her as he was worried that she was injured. To his relief however, she was alright. He could hear her breathing smoothly and smiled with ease. Eli then appeared and clapped, to at which Li growled and turned to him with anger while attempting to defend her. “You stay back..” He کہا with anger as he drew his sword at him. Eli insisted he lowered it sense he wasn’t going to fight. “Listen Li,” Eli said. “The whole reason I put آپ and her through all of this is because- I felt like آپ two were not meant for each other.” Li’s face quickly changed to blank. He had no idea how to react یا what to say. He did however manage to speak a while later. “W-W-What?? How could آپ think such a thing?! And yet آپ put both of us, not to mention Sakura, Kasey, and the others to such risk just so آپ can prove a point???” Eli chuckled a little as he looked at him. “It’s not really to prove a point. It’s just a test for passion آپ can say. Anyway, don’t tell anyone about this alright? You’ve clearly passed and I understand clearly now.”
Within the اگلے couple of days, everything seemed to be returning to normal. Though Felicia, after waking up from her deep slumber, hardly recalled anything that happened- luckily for Kasey. Meanwhile, Kero and Sakura were also going about their normal lives as well. However, something troubled Sakura. As she was lying on her bed, looking at the ceiling, she then asked Kero something. “Kero? Help me understand this- why would Eli go through the trouble to cast spells on both Li and Felicia?” Because he was playing his game, there wasn’t a lot he could say. He did however imply a theory. Sakura listened carefully. “I believe the whole point of what he did was because he felt like they weren’t meant to be a couple.” Her face clearly showed that she was confused. “But that doesn’t make sense. I mean, Li only loves her. Who else could he like?” Then Kero had another theory. “It’s probably آپ Sakura.” He said. For at lease a few seconds, her face was filled with blankness. She then brusted into shock as she shouted, “WHAAAAT?!” very loudly and echoed through the house. Both Tori and her father heard as they looked up and then at each other with concern. With Li and Melin, things were average.
On the following day, before class started, Eli managed to apologize to Sakura, Li, Madison, Melin, Kasey, and Felicia for putting them through all the trouble. They managed to accept his apology and gone their normal ways. سے طرف کی the time it was lunch, Sakura, Li, Madison, and Melin were about to leave the classroom when Sakura noticed Eli leaving. She excused herself for a moment and raced to catch up with him. They managed to talk privately outside. “What is it Sakura?” Eli asked. With a little gulp, she proceeded. “First, may I ask آپ something?” “Sure,” He respond with a little smile. “Ask away.” Sakura’s face was filled with redness, but she managed to shake it off and finally had the strength to continue. “Is it true- that آپ put both Li and Felicia through all of this just to test out their feelings for each other? If that’s really the truth, then please tell me why آپ did it. It has to be مزید than just testing their passion.”
Eli continued to smile as she asked and explained what triggered her mind. It wasn’t really bad that she asked, even though telling her the truth would’ve caused a little trouble. “Alright,” He said. “I’ll tell آپ but آپ have to promise to keep it between us.” She nodded in response as her expression showed she was ready to hear everything. Eli explained that it all started while he was at the party. He noticed Li and Felicia sitting together and thought that they didn’t make a good couple. But from what Sakura and Kasey explained, they were indeed perfect but he didn’t buy it. In order to prove the truth he decided to put them on a little test to see if they would react to the tragedies that behold them, such as the incident with Li and the drinking fountain. He also wanted to see how Li would react to Felicia’s ankle injury, which at first proved unsuccessful and made him believe that they weren’t a good couple. But when triggering his final portion of the test, which included her being kept in the tower, he eventually realized that their passion for one another was indeed truthful and strong.
Sakura, as she was listening, would often change her reactions. She felt surprised but then would be confused. It kept going until he finally finished, to at which her expression became normal again. While the truth was explained there was just one other thing that needed to be cleared. “If آپ realized that they wouldn’t make a good couple, who do آپ think would Li be with?” Eli chuckled as he smiled. “But آپ of course.” After standing perfectly quite and still for a second, she then turned white as her mouth opened wide and moaned. Eli once مزید chuckled سے طرف کی her actions. A little while later, Sakura managed to relax a bit. She still felt uneasy but was better. They thanked each other for their time and went on their own paths. But as she was walking away, Sakura’s expression was slowly changing. She became overly concerned to what was mentioned.
The hours eventually flew on as now the sun was setting over the buildings. High up on a tree, Eli, Spinner, and Ruby were sitting on a long branch. They had just finished listening to Eli explaining how the test went. “I just have one question,” Ruby said. “If آپ thought they wouldn’t make a good couple then whom do آپ think that boy would’ve gone to? That Cardcaptor girl سے طرف کی chance?” While he didn’t really answer, the response was clearly shown on his face. Both Spinner and Ruby didn’t say anything after that.

Everyone was having a splendid دن at a large gathering. Li and Felicia were sitting on a couch, talking and sharing a little appetizer. They were like a couple of love birds and everyone who noticed watched with smiles. Even Sakura’s دوستوں couldn’t believe how close they were. “Do آپ find it strange Sakura?” Nikki asked. She looked at her with a little confusion. “What do آپ mean?” “You know, about them.” Sakura noticed them and finally understood what she meant. “No, it’s not awkward at all. I mean, they are my دوستوں so why should it be?” Chelsea giggled a little as she said, “Besides, you’ve got Kasey on your mind.” Poor Sakura blushed completely.
Speaking of Kasey, he was busy talking to Sakura’s brother, Tori and his best friend, Julian. “How’s work coming for آپ guys?” Kasey asked. Tori sighed as he responds that there wasn’t much work shifting at the moment. Julian however tried brightening the moment سے طرف کی implying that it would come to them soon. Both he and Kasey chuckled a little; while Tori just stood there not saying a word. Sakura soon approached and pulled on Kasey’s shirt. “Kasey, I need to talk to آپ privately for a moment please.” Kasey looked at her and followed her to a private part of the house.
“Everyone’s talking about Li and Felicia,” Sakura said. “It’s kind of embarrassing.” Kasey’s eyebrows raised a little as he didn’t quite understand what she was implying. “Sakura, آپ can’t blame them for loving each other. After all, they’ve been hiding their feelings for quite a while and it’s starting to show. Even if everyone notices it’s not like it’ll bother us یا anything. It just means they’re surprised. آپ understand?” Sakura thought it over and smiled a little as she nodded. “Thanks Kasey. You’re so wise.” He chuckled as he thought her flattery was funny. But it wasn’t much of a joke as it was true. He however didn’t understand. They then got back to the party.
Felicia and Li were still together on the couch. They hadn’t moved یا left for minutes. “Felicia,” Li کہا as he tried not spilling his drink. “I think we really should stop. We have to be social.” Felicia stared at him with a smile. “But of course. I do love آپ after all.” He blushed a tad after what she کہا and slowly got up from the chair while helping her up. As they managed to get through the crowd, someone was watching them not far away.
He was a young boy, about Li’s age but wore glasses and had dark, black hair. He was revealed to be Eli, another friend of Sakura’s. He’s often considered mysterious due to his power and skills as a sorcerer and user of magic. Also another descended of Clow Reed and expert of the Clow cards he holds the key to knowledge for both Sakura and Li’s case.
What was puzzling him however was the fact that both Li and Felicia were together. It wasn’t really known why he held such interest, but it was apparently interesting to him. Going through the crowd he managed to find Sakura and Kasey. “Hi guys.” He said. They both turned and were surprised to find him standing near them. “Well hi Eli.” Kasey said. “Yes, hello to آپ too,” Sakura کہا as she smiled. “Are آپ having fun?” “Yes, I am,” Eli respond. “But I wanted to talk to آپ guys about something.” They looked at him with a little concern as they also looked at each other for only a سیکنڈ before returning their attention to him. “Could آپ please tell me about that girl and Li?”
“Oh, آپ mean Felicia and him?” Sakura asked. He nodded in response. “Well, they’ve only been together for a few months but all in all they make a great couple. Why do آپ ask?” Eli responds that he didn’t have a دیا reason and just turned and left. Sakura watched as he walked away with a little confusion. “I’ve gotta be honest Sakura,” Kasey said. “That boy freaks me out.” Sakura turned and got a little agitated for what he said. “I’m sorry, but it’s true. I think he might be plotting something here.” “You mean as in planning some test?” Sakura asked. While it probably wasn’t accurate, he did nod to that.
When night fell all over Reedington, a particular house stood somewhere within the town. It was a large complex that looked like an old, English mansion- though it wasn’t very large. Inside, it was quite dark as only one candle shined in the large living room. Eli was sitting in a fancy chair; while a young girl, named Ruby, was sitting on a سوفی, لٹانا that sat across from the chair. Sitting on a coffee میز, جدول in-between them was a small, black colored creature that looked a lot like Kero but was different from not only the colors but shape of the face, ears, and tail. It was revealed to be another guardian beast named Spinner and is considered to be Eli’s personal helper.
“How did it go at that party?” Spinner asked. Eli smiled as he respond, “It went quite well- and very interesting.” Both Spinner and Ruby looked at him with confusion. “Whatever do آپ mean سے طرف کی “interesting”?” Ruby asked. Eli then gotten up and walked towards a window close by. “It’s about Li and that girl,” He کہا as he continued staring out. “I just can’t get passed the fact that they are together when it truly doesn’t fit.” Through his talking both Spinner and Ruby grew overly concerned. “Why do آپ think it’s not right?” Ruby asked as she walked towards him. “I mean, I don’t know this girl myself but if it doesn’t feel right to آپ why does it concern you?”
Eli didn’t actually know why it concerned him. He just had the feeling that they didn’t fit as a couple. “If you’re implying what I think you’re implying than that is barbaric and the wrong way to go.” Spinner exclaimed. Life seemed to be going well- that is until Eli’s plan to test both Li and Felicia’s feelings would soon be underway. Right after the first half of the hour, Li was getting himself a drink from a drinking fountain. Eli was hiding behind a corner, waiting for the right moment to activate his trick. Felicia soon passed him and when the moment was right he nodded and the water coming from the فاؤنٹین, چشمہ suddenly spewed all over Li’s face. Sense he didn’t react on time, he had less hope of escaping and was nearly breathless. Everyone within the hallway watched as they did nothing. Felicia however quickly turned and managed to get him out from the fountain. “Are آپ alright?” She asked as she used her cloth to wipe his face. Li didn’t answer but moaned a little.
Eli’s reaction was intrigued. “So she acted out just when he was being breathless,” He کہا in his mind. “That’s one way to see how they feel. Now onto the اگلے test.” Later on, Li and Melin were having lunch outside together- something they don’t ever get to do much anymore. Because of this, Melin was going to make this the best lunch moment ever and even went through the trouble in cooking something special for Li. “Look what I made for you!” She کہا with happiness. Sakura however remained a little quite as something was on her mind. “What’s wrong Sakura?” Rita asked as a look of concern filled her face. “Are آپ okay?” Sakura quickly reacted to her question, shook her head a little, and smiled. “I’m fine.” Everyone pretty much looked at her as if they knew she was faking. Even Madison did.
Once lunch was over, Sakura and Madison managed to have some time alone. “Are آپ really fine Sakura?” Madison asked. She sighed as she let a little frown and slightly looked at the ground. “Something about yesterday troubled me,” She said. “It’s something Eli told me and Kasey.” Madison was a little surprised and listened to what she explained. “Oh,” She said. “So, Kasey assumes he’s up to something?” Sakura nodded in response. “And I honestly don’t know if I should believe him یا not.” There really wasn’t a rational solution to this problem because it could’ve gone either direction. Madison however did have a proper idea. “Why don’t we keep an eye on both of them? This way we can find out if he is really up to something.” Sakura wasn’t really the type of girl to sneak یا spy on others, but sense Li and Felicia meant so much to her there wasn’t much of a choice.
In agreement to their plan, both Sakura and Madison did everything they could to keep a close eye on both Li and Felicia while also being wary of what’s going on around them. Luckily there was no strange activity. But it wasn’t until a few سیکنڈ later when something suddenly occurred. They heard a scream coming from a nearby shack and ran to it. As they entered, they were shocked to find Felicia lying on the ground holding her left ankle. She twisted it for unknown causes. “Please help me up!” She wailed. Both Sakura and Madison lifted her and slowly carried her out. Everyone in her class gathered as they chanted with concern. Not far away, Eli was standing there alone and watched.
Felicia was in the nurse’s office. Her ankle was wrapped up with a bandage and was properly cared for. Both Sakura and Madison stood سے طرف کی her side the entire time. Felicia laughed as she said, “Yeah, sure.” After leaving, Sakura excused herself as she wanted to talk to Kasey. Madison chose to stay with Felicia while she was away. Sakura nodded before leaving the room. A look of concern filled Madison’s face as she wondered what would come of things. Felicia meanwhile noticed her expression and asked what was wrong to at which she quickly reacted and told her it was nothing.
Sakura eventually caught up with Kasey. After catching her breath, she asked if they would go somewhere private. Luckily Kasey’s classroom was already empty and decided to head there. As they were nearing the room, they suddenly noticed Eli from a few feet away, already passing سے طرف کی a corner. Kasey کہا he had a chilly feeling in his body. Although it was hard to admit Sakura did as well. After shutting the door, Kasey turned to her and asked what was wrong. That can’t be. I mean, she does possess magical abilities but it’s not “that” huge for anyone like him to get into.” “I don’t think that’s it Kasey,” Sakura exclaimed. “He’s not after her for power. It’s something else. But if only we knew what it was.” It was a moment of hard thinking for them as they tried putting their minds to work. However there were no other solutions and that “if” it was true then both Li and Felicia would probably be in deeper trouble. “So what do آپ think we should do?” Sakura asked. “It’s simple really,” Kasey responded. “We’re just going to have to work together to keep an eye on them. As far as we know Eli’s work is soon to be done anyway.”
Just then, Sakura remembered something very important. “We have to get back to the nurse’s office.” She said. Kasey didn’t understand why, but he didn’t want to argue and followed. سے طرف کی the time they arrived they were shocked to find Madison and the nurse lying on the floor. “Madison!” Sakura shouted as she kneeled near her. When she lifted her up, she suddenly realized she was only asleep. “The nurse is asleep too.” Kasey کہا as he helped her up. I have to admit that things went smoothly. Now the time has come for me to make the final move.” Kasey’s face was soon filled with anger. “Tell us what you’re planning to do! آپ better not hurt her آپ hear?!” Eli chuckled and then laughed. “Hurt her? Now why would I ever do a thing like that? Nonsense! I’m just going to take her somewhere secretive and put Li on his turn for the test. Simple as that. And one مزید thing- I’ll leave some company behind to deal with آپ two so that آپ won’t interfere with the test.” Just then, Li and Melin arrived and gasped in surprise. “What’s going on here??” Melin asked. Li didn’t say anything, but rather stared at Felicia with shock. His attention then drew to Eli, which was quickly changed to anger.
“Oh Li. How nice of آپ be here.” “Cut it out Eli!” Li shouted. “What do آپ think you’re doing with her??” Eli looked down at Felicia’s face for a سیکنڈ and then returned his attention back to him. “I suppose I can reveal my plan to آپ now.” Li and Melin’s faces were both filled with confusion. However, Eli managed to explain everything including the incidents revolving the water فاؤنٹین, چشمہ and how Felicia twisted her ankle. Hearing it made Li even angrier. “You not only tried drowning me but آپ were responsible for her getting hurt??? What kind of person are you?!” Both Melin and Sakura tried calming him. Eli could only smile. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to take my hostage here to a sacred place. Remember Li: This is a test to prove your desire and passion for this girl. Either آپ come, rescue her, and prove your feelings. یا آپ can fail and admit آپ don’t deserve her. The choice is yours. See آپ soon.” And with that, he and Felicia quickly vanished.
Li slumped on his knees. His face was completely covered سے طرف کی darkness as it wasn’t shown how he felt. The entire room became quite. Sakura tried comforting him, but he slapped her hands with force that it hurt her. Kasey quickly reacted to this. “I know this is upsetting you, but don’t think آپ can take it out on Sakura یا all of us!” He still didn’t respond but rather stood still. With his anger unleashed, Kasey grabbed him, turned him around, and got a little close to his face. “Stop being such a ھٹی, ترش puss! آپ heard what he said! He wants to see how آپ really feel about her! Don’t آپ get it?? He’s not going to hurt her یا anything! Just get out there, save her, and prove to him your feelings for her are true!!!” Sakura tried pulling him back. His strength however was too much for her to pull. Melin then tuned in and helped her out. They were both able to get him away from Li.
He continued staring downward, not saying a single word. Just then Madison and the nurse awoke. “What happened?” Madison yawned as she rubbed her right eye. Sakura was surprised to see her awake and quickly helped her up. Kasey and Melin also helped the nurse up. “I think I need to quit working overtime.” The nurse sighed. Kasey, Melin, Sakura, and Madison smiled as they stared at her. Li however was too depressed to care. Their attention was eventually drawn back to him. “Listen Li,” Sakura کہا as she walked to him. “It’s true what Kasey said. Eli isn’t going to torcher یا hurt Felicia. He’s only doing all of this to see how آپ really feel about her. Just be yourself and go out there and save her okay? We’re all here for آپ as a team and we will always be سے طرف کی your side.” Li was surprised سے طرف کی what she said. He looked up at her face as a little smile filled it. After thinking for a few seconds, he managed to get a smile but eventually changed to a serious expression as he was ready for another journey. “I want to come too!” Melin exclaimed. Everyone turned to her. “Um, as much as we love for آپ to come we’re afraid it’ll be too much. آپ understand right?” Kasey کہا as he tried not to sound too sensible. Though she was crushed, she did understand a little. After wishing them luck she watched as they jumped out the window and quickly left the school grounds. “Please be careful آپ guys.” She کہا quietly while still staring at the distance.
منٹ had passed and everyone was well underway. Kasey, who was now a giant African elephant, was charging through the barren streets of downtown Reedington. On his back were Sakura, Madison, Kero, and Li. Poor Kero was hanging on for dear life as he gripped against Sakura’s shoulder. “Could آپ kindly tell him to slow down!!!” He exclaimed. Sakura کہا that he couldn’t sense they were in a hurry to get to wherever Eli was. Madison was busy filming. Li however was hanging on tightly as his face was still filled with seriousness. He was going to do everything in his soul to make sure Felicia was safe- even if it meant risking his own life.
After a long, long run through the city, they stopped سے طرف کی پینگوئن, پیںگان Park. After everyone got off him Kasey returned to his normal, human form. “Let’s start exploring,” Li said. “He could be anywhere.” Luckily, they didn’t need time to تلاش as the ground started shaking violently. Everyone got down quickly and near them a large tower started to appear out of the ground. Everyone wowed and gazed at the size and style of the tower. When it stopped, Eli’s voice was then heard. “Hello everyone,” He کہا as he looked down at them. “I’m so glade آپ could make it. This is the final portion of the test- a test to prove the love and passion between Li and his lover. Will they be together یا not? Let’s start to find out.” Everyone stared at him as they were ready for whatever was afoot. Li then shouted as he quickly headed for the tower. Sakura called his name, but it was too late as three large-sized beasts suddenly appeared in front of the tower. Poor Sakura screamed as she ran and hid behind Kasey.
“What are آپ doing Sakura?!” Kasey asked. She pushed against him as she started to weep. Kasey understood and decided he would try to protect her. Kero however transformed into his true form and کہا he would take care of them. “But Kero,” Kasey exclaimed. “We’re supposed to be fighting together!” “I understand that!” He shouted as he was flying. “But with Sakura cuddling behind آپ now there’s no chance of that happening right now! I’ll distract them for a while and then آپ both come in!” Kasey understood, but convincing Sakura to fight was easy کہا than done. He just needed a little time to مکھن her courage. “Listen Sakura,” He started. “I know you’re scared of battling giant monsters and creatures but آپ do understand we’re a team right? We must work together to deal with our fears.” Sakura continued to sulk, but listening to him did give her the courage. He went on and on until he finally managed to get it all back. She then chanted the Clow incantation and her wand appeared. She used a Clow card against one the beasts to at which it took full effect. Kasey cheered her on, but couldn’t do it for too long as it was now his turn to fight.
While everyone was fighting outside, Li had already made it inside the tower. He looked around hoping to find traces of where Felicia could be. It was then Eli appeared on the سیکنڈ floor to the right and told him that the way to where she was kept was on this side. Growling with anger, Li quickly ran the stairs and managed to make it to the floor just after Eli disappeared. “Quit playing around!” He shouted. A faint echo soon followed which was Eli’s voice. He said, “This way.” Li quickly followed the echoes until he came face to face with a vicious guardian who was guarding the door that lead to where Felicia was kept. “None shall pass through here!” The guardian exclaimed. “Unless آپ desire feelings for that maiden in there!” Li was so angered سے طرف کی what the guardian کہا that he used is lazin board to summon thunder which struck the giant on his left arm. It didn’t do much damage however and only caused a slight bruise. “You’re a tough little guy,” He chuckled. “But not tough enough!”
The guardian then used his club to strike Li, but missed سے طرف کی a fair shot. Concentrating on getting his weapon unstuck he wasn’t aware of Li performing another attack with his board and struck the guardian on the forehead, causing him to collapse. Li landed on his knee and hand as he quickly got back up and stared at the passed out guardian. He then walked on سب, سب سے اوپر of him as he made his way to the door. There was nothing مزید the guardian could do sense he had been defeated. However, he was surprised سے طرف کی the boy’s strength and knew straight on his passion was far مزید powerful than anything.
Back outside, Kero, still in his true form, was terribly bruised. Madison quickly ran to help him, but he insisted she stayed back. “Those beasts will get آپ if they realize you’re here,” He moaned. “I will not allow آپ to get harmed.” She was surprised سے طرف کی his words and smiled as she carefully helped him up. Then, a loud boom was heard in which they both turned to the scene. Kasey had just bashed one of the beasts with a large درخت as he was a large type of Sasquatch. “Sorry about that,” He chuckled as a sweat drop appeared on his head. “Gotta little carried away.” They sighed with relaxation. Sakura had also just finished the other beast, which meant they were finished fighting for now. Now all that was left was for the hope of Li finding Felicia and that Eli would be satisfied with the results from what he sees.
As Li slowly entered the room, he could see Felicia sleeping on a simple chamber. He quickly rushed to her as he was worried that she was injured. To his relief however, she was alright. He could hear her breathing smoothly and smiled with ease. Eli then appeared and clapped, to at which Li growled and turned to him with anger while attempting to defend her. “You stay back..” He کہا with anger as he drew his sword at him. Eli insisted he lowered it sense he wasn’t going to fight. “Listen Li,” Eli said. “The whole reason I put آپ and her through all of this is because- I felt like آپ two were not meant for each other.” Li’s face quickly changed to blank. He had no idea how to react یا what to say. He did however manage to speak a while later. “W-W-What?? How could آپ think such a thing?! And yet آپ put both of us, not to mention Sakura, Kasey, and the others to such risk just so آپ can prove a point???” Eli chuckled a little as he looked at him. “It’s not really to prove a point. It’s just a test for passion آپ can say. Anyway, don’t tell anyone about this alright? You’ve clearly passed and I understand clearly now.”
Within the اگلے couple of days, everything seemed to be returning to normal. Though Felicia, after waking up from her deep slumber, hardly recalled anything that happened- luckily for Kasey. Sakura listened carefully. “I believe the whole point of what he did was because he felt like they weren’t meant to be a couple.” Her face clearly showed that she was confused. “But that doesn’t make sense. I mean, Li only loves her. Who else could he like?” Then Kero had another theory. “It’s probably آپ Sakura.” He said. For at lease a few seconds, her face was filled with blankness. She then brusted into shock as she shouted, “WHAAAAT?!” very loudly and echoed through the house. Both Tori and her father heard as they looked up and then at each other with concern. With Li and Melin, things were average.
On the following day, before class started, Eli managed to apologize to Sakura, Li, Madison, Melin, Kasey, and Felicia for putting them through all the trouble. They managed to accept his apology and gone their normal ways. سے طرف کی the time it was lunch, Sakura, Li, Madison, and Melin were about to leave the classroom when Sakura noticed Eli leaving. Eli continued to smile as she asked and explained what triggered her mind. It wasn’t really bad that she asked, even though telling her the truth would’ve caused a little trouble. “Alright,” He said. “I’ll tell آپ but آپ have to promise to keep it between us.” She nodded in response as her expression showed she was ready to hear everything. Eli explained that it all started while he was at the party. He noticed Li and Felicia sitting together and thought that they didn’t make a good couple. But from what Sakura and Kasey explained, they were indeed perfect but he didn’t buy it. In order to prove the truth he decided to put them on a little test to see if they would react to the tragedies that behold them, such as the incident with Li and the drinking fountain. He also wanted to see how Li would react to Felicia’s ankle injury, which at first proved unsuccessful and made him believe that they weren’t a good couple. But when triggering his final portion of the test, which included her being kept in the tower, he eventually realized that their passion for one another was indeed truthful and strong.
Sakura, as she was listening, would often change her reactions. She felt surprised but then would be confused. It kept going until he finally finished, to at which her expression became normal again.
