Note: For those of you who don't know, Michelle Nicastro is Odette's speaking voice in the first movie but didn't provide the singing, which was done by Liz Callaway. However, in the two 2D sequels, Michelle took over the singing for Odette as well.

I actually (marginally) prefer this one. I'm almost crying listening to it, it just feels more simple. Shame that Michelle didn't sing in the original movie, her voice is good enough & fits the character, even though I like Liz Callaway too.

Regina does have a beautiful voice though.

I think I might SLIGHTLY prefer this one for the same reasons you said. Plus, I kind of prefer Michelle and Kenneth's voices over Regina and Jeffrey. They're more of that Broadway style that I like more than any other music genre. Yeah. it's a shame Michelle didn't sing in the original and I think her voice suits Odette better than Liz Callaway, who was undeniably wonderful. At least Michelle sang in the two 2D animated sequels. It also makes the CGI films more insulting than they already are because of how she died of breast and brain cancer. Michelle had always returned for the sequels and it feels insulting to how dedicated she was to these movies and the character of Odette in the same way Jodi Benson is for Ariel and Paige O'Hara is for Belle. Besides, I think the third movie was a good way to end it.
