Last year, I wrote an مضمون where I talked about Carrie Fisher's death, because I thought it would be an interesting idea to talk about, especially to close off the year. So, I decided to do the same, but this time, I want to talk about a topic that's been heavily debated سے طرف کی millions across the planet. I'm not trying to be super philosophical, but rather share with آپ my point of view.

A few days ago, I decided to look up a few ویڈیوز about souls and the afterlife. I look up a video that talked about theories of what could happen. Most of them seemed reasonably beliveable, except for the...

Answer: Stoning is a method of execution during which a group of people, usually peers of the guilty party, throws stones at the condemned person until he یا she dies. Death سے طرف کی stoning was prescribed in the Old Testament Law as a punishment for various sins. Both animals and people could be the subjects of stoning (Exodus 21:28), and stoning seems to have been associated with sins that caused irreparable damage to the spiritual یا ceremonial purity of a person یا an animal.

Some sins that resulted in stoning in the Old Testament were murder (Leviticus 24:17), idolatry (Deuteronomy 17:2–5),...

I'm taking a history course this year, and I was supposed to write an essay on the reasons for success of Christianity. Enjoy!

Today, Christianity is one of the most wide-spread religions of the world. But its history is filled with bloodshed and violence; early Christians had to endure horrific punishments for their faith. There are many stories of martyrs being stoned to death; of Christians’ bodies being used as torches to light Roman feasts; of people being crucified, sometimes upside-down, simply because they refused to renounce Jesus Christ as their saviour. In the midst of such persecution,...

She ran, not heeding the tempest that tore at her clothes nor caring where she fled to as long as it was someplace far from home. Away from the chaos of her fighting parents and the hopelessness of the choice she was faced with.

Why Did the U.S. Government Purchase 30,000 Guillotines?

"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was دیا unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, یا in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." ~ Revelation 20:4

That was the سوال Jesus asked the women at the well, as آپ read in John 4:7. Why would Jesus need man to do him a favor in the first place? Is He not the Almighty God who can do whatever He wants? So why would He need to ask a foreign women to give Him some water? Why would He ask آپ for a favor today?

You can respond like so many others do and say 'just leave me alone, I don't need you' and he probably would. آپ look at him just like one of these annoying insurance sales men that really don't want to leave آپ alone until they got آپ to either buy something from them یا throw something...

The Cross & The Fish - The Symbols Of Christianity
Happy Reformation دن everyone! Brothers and sisters, let us rejoyce for today we commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation. Exactly on this very day, 500 years ago, in a city of Wittenberg, Germany a certain Augustinian monk has made a history. His name was Martin Luther, and he has truly reformed the Church. It was on October 31,1517, at the eve of the All Saints' Day, یا All Hallows' دن back then to be exact, when Martin Luther has made public the proclamation of true Christianity aka the 95 Theses گیا کیا پوسٹ on the church door. It was the دن that has forever change the Church....

ارے I wanted to introduce a new series on a huge topic. I know I don't have all the جوابات but I can find them out. Everyone has faith no matter what they might say.     Matthew 28:19-20 describes how we must spread the Word of Jesus Christ. We should teach everyone—Christians and nonbelievers alike—about God. Tell them to believe and then strengthen their faith. Try to teach as many places as آپ can. Teach them the rules and poetry of the Bible. It doesn’t matter what they say about your beliefs, آپ know you’re right and that God is with you.

Those that aren't familiar with Tamar's story will be دیا some background before I jump ahead. Tamar was a princess. She has at least two brothers, Absalom and Amnon. One night her brother has a servant call her to Amnon's chamber with special bread. So Tamar comes and long story short, Amnon rapes her. She will now forever be disgraced. Absalom, though angry, told her to keep quiet.

-Imagine Tamar: grief-stricken, sobbing, ashes on her head. Her body in a heap on the cold floor. Soot covers her beautiful face and smears the rich colors of her torn robe. Her outward appearance echoes the...

I found this on the "I love God." page on Facebook and found it rather uplifting.

Greetings…

There has been a whole lot of rapture talk going on lately. Again someone has predicted the world will come to an end at a certain تاریخ and time. I have been getting emails from folks around the world asking if this is going to be it for us and have been fielding سوالات at work.

The word of God very clearly says in Matthew 24:36 (NIV), “But about that دن یا گھنٹہ no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Jesus told in Acts 1:7, "It is not for آپ to know the...

Well, I've been on Fanpop for a while, and now I think it is time to tell my testimony.

I was born into a Christian family, went to church every week, and "accepted" Jesus when I was 8.

Did I understand, no, I wasn't a Christian, I still did the things of the world, I sinned, I had a short-temper, and I didn't care.

My short-temper was horrible, no one would play anything with me, without me getting angry at them for changing the rules, making up the game, یا cheating. The actions from resulting from my temper caused me to sin alot.

Well, my family eventually moved, and I was ok with it, b/c it...

So I'm a little frustrated. I'll just state that right now. Partly, because there is a difference between having faith, and being a unique individual with your own opinions, beliefs, ideas, attitudes, virtues and vices.

I have seen at least two picks on this spot that I can think of off the سب, سب سے اوپر of my head that have asked the general question, "Can آپ be Christian if آپ are/believe/think [Insert Supposed Vice/Sin/Evil Thing Here]?" But they aren't the only places I see it. I hear it from friends. I see it in فورم both on Fanpop and off of it. And it really, really bugs me.

I don't care what...

I've noticed that recently there have been a lot of non-Christians on this spot. I'm fine with that. But when a non-Christian goes onto this spot just to criticize and insult our religion.... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this activity is similar to that of an "Internet Troll". If آپ really want to argue about the beliefs and values of Christianity یا try to prove it wrong, there is a place for that and it's called The Debate Spot. I'm very tempted to name names, but I won't.

I think that's all that needs to be said. Please don't criticize me about the length of this, it was meant purely as a spot announcement, not an article, but Fanpop hasn't got that feature yet so I'll have to make do with writing it as an article.

Here's a lil something I'd like to talk about here: Science

As lots of آپ know, I'm a Christian and all that. And well..IMHO, Science itself was never bad یا wrong. I like it, so I have nothing against Athiests. It's just that sometimes they go too far with it. I mean, making medicine and trying to help people--that's great. That's AWESOME. But...when they use it to clone and do other things that no human should ever have access to, that's when it's bad. And like, why? Why is it that Atheists trust Science? It's flawed like we all are. We are all imperfect, and science was made سے طرف کی imperfect people. So..why? Why would u trust something that's just as flawed as u are?
"Alright fine, he was not a good human teacher. Why should I believe he was the Son of God and not a liar?"

The Bible contains many prophecies about the Messiah written hundreds of years before Jesus was born. These include when He would be born, where He would be born and how he would die.

Jesus fulfilled all of these propecies in his lifetime. Some he could contol, such as entering Jerusalem on a donkey, but many others such as being born in Bethlehem یا being betrayed for 30 pieces of silver were completely beyond His control.

Beyond all the prophetic evidence, Jesus told his followers very...
