Spencer was to visit his mother at the mental institution center in Las Vegas in afew days. He was excited but nervous. Why was he nervous? It had been ages since he'd seen her. Spencer loved his mother, but often felt she criticized his job and FBI colleagues at times. No matter what went down, he knew he needed to pay her a visit. He went to Hotch for advice.

"I need your help." Spencer stated. "You're asking ME for advice?" Hotch asked in a shocked tone. "Yes..." Spencer reluctantly answered. Hotch didn't know what to do. "What about JJ?" he asked. "She's a chaperone on her son's field trip today." Spencer answered. "What about Derek?" Hotch asked again. "HE was up all night throwing up." Spencer answered. Hotch knew he had nowhere else to turn. "Well, I guess that leaves ME." he stated. Spencer immediately got to it.

"I'm visiting my mom in afew days and I'm REALLY nervous." he said. "Just make the best of it." Hotch replied. Spencer looked at him with an angry look on his face. "Is THAT all you've got?" he asked. "I don't really know what else to tell ya, Spencer." Hotch replied reluctantly. Spencer wasn't that close to Hotch like he was with JJ and Derek. Hotch went up to Spencer. "I know it's been difficult to deal with your mother's condition, but آپ did the right thing for her." Hotch comforted. Spencer looked at him. "It was hard. But I know she's getting the best treatment in the world right now." Spencer replied.

Spencer was never able to visit his mother because of the grueling hours of his job, but still made time to write letters to her everyday. "I don't know why my mom disapproves of me working for the FBI and...I don't even know why she criticizes my دوستوں either." he said. Hotch put a hand on his shoulder. Spencer walked out of Hotch's office feeling hopeful as a new wave of pride swam over him.

*I hope JJ enjoys every moment she has with her son today. She really needs it.* Spencer thought as he was walking toward the door. Suddenly, Penelope came rushing up to him. "I just heard about Derek!" she کہا frantically. Spencer grinned. "He'll be fine. He just needs some rest." he stated. "Oh, thank God!" Penelope almost screamed. "I've been worried sick about him!" she continued. "He DID call me saying he was running a temp of 103.5 though." Spencer declared. Penelope stopped. "Is that bad?" she asked. "Not really if he just takes some Tylenol for it." he answered. He then schooled Penelope on the 24-hour virus.
