You're a hypocrite and a phony, and the only reason you changed her at all was to save her life. Whatever."[/i] People say Edward is a selfish creature. And he is. He knows that. All the characters are selfish. And he would be selfish to turn Bella just in fear of ever having to lose her. He wants her to make the choice for herself. He doesn't want to force her into a choice. And yeah, Edward did change her to save her life. Is that considered a selfish act? I honestly don't know. Was it selfish for Carlisle to change the Cullens? It's a pretty heavy topic and controversial. What Edward did, i think it was somewhat selfish, but it doesn't dismiss the fact that he loved her. It doesn't diminish the fact that he would have done anything for her. Sorry if I sound rude, but this whole article was rather insulting. You aren't really analyzing his character. You're just pointing out Edward's characters' flaws without really basing it on facts. Just opinion. You are allowed to have an opinion. But, you don't have to be so rude about it.

Point out certain comments where I was lashing at you, and I will apologize for them. But I cannot really see any part in particular where I personally called you names or was straight up rude to you. I can be nice and polite. In fact, I see myself as a pretty understanding person. So please. Enlighten me. Please point me in the direction where I was rude to you and I will gladly apologize. And you are here to post your opinion, and therefore get reactions: reactions that agree or disagree your point.

hermione980 you know what manda panda you're right and katie cain. we both should apologize and be done with it. i just at first glance misunderstood and i expect maturity and polite behavior on fanpop. i apologize, and i would like an apology too, even if theres really nothing to apologize for. its more of a closure thing.

rachaelwsz Eh, I don't think this is a critical analysis of Edward at all. From the way I read it, it was more like 'I don't like Edward. I think he sucks and I'm going to write an article on it' kind of article. Just saying. [edit] And it's nice to see [i]it[/i] being settled. =P

bookwormgrl101 Even if it wasn't what i would consider a totaly critical analysis, i thought it was pretty good. Granted, it could have focused a tad bit less on hate for him, but you still did backup your reasons logically.... but, then again, i could be totally off seeign as i haven't even wrote one yet... but, even if my opinion means nothing at all, i thought it was very well written.
