Plus, Damon made sure to mention that he understood it was always going to be Stefan, so Elena has no reason to be ashamed of it. What happened will only strengthen them, not tare them apart. Plus, I do not think Damon has the heart to take that away from her. It hurt him enough to do erase the memory last time. He will not do it again.
