Should Religions Stop?

Again, I'm lost, this time much مزید so. Now not only do I not know what you're supporting (are آپ for religions, یا for religions stopping?), I have no idea what آپ mean سے طرف کی the سوال in the first place. Stop what? Stop existing? Stop setting up arranged marriages? Stop insisting that the kids of families marry within the religion? I honestly don't know which one of those three it is, یا even if it could be another option altogether. Give me a better idea of what the سوال is and I'll respond to it directly.

Firstly, yes, arranged marriages have been cites of significant abuse towards women, and yes, arranged marriages are prominent in Indian cultures. But arranged marriages are not unique to Indian cultures. And 'traditional' arranged marriages are not the only ways women are forced into marriages. So your targeting of Indians here is... misguided, at best.

Your تبصرے here about marriage only seem loosely connected to religion. آپ have asked here if we think religion should "stop" and have then proceeded to talk about women's rights and arranged marriages... So what are آپ asking us? Do we think arranged marriages for religious reasons are wrong? Do we think religion in general should be abolished? Do we think people should be allowed to practice religion freely? Your point is unclear and certainly isn't helped by... inflammatory comments.

I'm really confused about what you're asking.

Not all religions force women into arranged marriages and, from what I understand about India and their religions, arranged marriages have little to nothing to do with their religion, and everything to do with the culture. Religion and culture, while extremely interconnected, aren't the same thing.

I don't think so. I'm agnostic myself, but, religions are important to a lot of cultures. SOME religions, however, need to change. Some still cling to ridiculously old گیا پڑھا مرتبہ that should be abolished in this modern world. Your سوال seems to only apply to a few select religions, so آپ shouldn't really say should "Religions" be banned, because I think that some religions are great. I've never seen a Buddhist harm anyone..

I don't think so, for some people religion is the only thing that gives them hope and keeps them going. What needs to stop is people using religion as an excuse for doing wrong یا to justify prejudices.

I think you're not getting the purpose of religion. In fact, I think you're all wrong in this.

آپ کہا "if you're Indian یا something". It's not actually Hinduism that tells Indian people they can't marry people from another caste(is that how آپ say it?) it's the Indian culture. I know that آپ think "this is only the internet" but آپ could at least do a little research before آپ post such provocative and harsh statements.

The absurdity of this سوال is entertaining. Define religion.
