Why Mulan is consider oficially like one of the Disney Princess?

The truth is that she appeals to minorities. Disney has to keep with the times. That's the reason the Tiana is African American. Lots of people have been complaining that there is no black princess. Mulan made a lot of little girls happy just as Tiana will make another group of girls happy. In no time we'll have our first Latina princess/herione.

Well, Mulan should be considered a princess because she has all the traits, and girls in a certain age group think of her as a role model, thus giving her the image of a princess. Even though she wasn't born into royalty like Ariel یا Aurora, یا even Rapunzel, she should still be considered a princess. She's honorable, and defiant, strong and courageous. Those are all qualities of a princess.

Oh for a number of reasons. She's a female teenager in a fairy tale story/legend, she stands for feminist values while still maintaining femaninity, but largely to help chip away at the number of minorities the Disney Princess Franchise needs to appease.

The frame of mind is that these women are first and foremost role models and that any girl can be a princess.

I don't agree with this but hey...it's all about merchandizing.

I have often wondered this as well - I don't class her as a princess but if everyone is than I think we should include Meg and Esmeralda as well - Meg married a god (higher than a prince) and Esmeralda married a general (like Mulan) so I don't see why they're never included

I think a Disney Princess does not necessarily have to be royalty, یا even a princess. She's just Disney royalty. I think they مزید یا less mean disney heroines, یا just in general all the Disney Female Leads. But saying "Disney Princess" is مزید marketable.

No because she is not marry into it like Belle and she in not a princess when she was born like Snow White

I think she's one because she's inspiring. If she didn't get a hit on her movie, she probably wouldn't have been considered a princess
