Chapter 3: The Jarring Shift
"Oh, Belle, you're alive! We all were so worried about you! What happened??" Aurora is relieved, and goes to hug Belle. Just as Aurora goes to hug Belle, Belle gets out of چھری and stabs Aurora in the stomach.
"You don't have to deal with مزید death, because you'll be dead yourself," Belle says in a robotic voice that doesn't sound like her own. She smiles and grabs Ariel, who is now awake, and they run off the ship together.
"Aurora!" Rapunzel screams. They all rush over to see Aurora. Her دل still beats, but it's faint. "Why would Belle do such a thing!"
Before anyone can answer, Mulan screams, "AGH!" Mulan collapses. "My water, it just broke!" She screams. Half the girls stay سے طرف کی Aurora's side, keeping pressure on the چھری wound while the other half rush to Mulan's side.
"Seriously, آپ had to have the baby NOW?" جیسمین, یاسمین asks. "Wasn't your due تاریخ not for another month?" Mulan nods and all the girls get worried. Babies aren't supposed to come a ماہ before, and none of the girls know how to deliver a baby.
"WAIT!" Rapunzel says. "I know how to deliver a baby! That was what one of my four کتابیں was about! I also know how to cook a 5 سٹار, ستارہ meal, dress plants up for the county state fair, yodel-"
"Well get on with it then lassie!" Merida cuts in, and sticks her tongue out at Rapunzel. "Such a دکھائیں off that wee lass is, ain't she?" Merida whispers. "How's it coming with Aurora?" Merida asks them.
"Not so good.." Tiana replies. "She's still breathing, but it's getting slower and slower. Her skin is getting pale...How's the baby going?"
A scream cuts into the air, "MWAH!"
"Mulan, are آپ ok?" Tiana asks.
"That wasn't me who screamed!" Mulan replies, "My baby boy, he's here!" Everyone, but Tiana, who stays سے طرف کی Aurora's side, runs to see Mulan and her new born baby. "I can't believe it, he's a healthy baby boy. He looks a bit small, but I couldn't have asked for more!"
Everyone congratulates Mulan, but Tiana's voice cuts in. "Guys," she says, "Aurora stopped breathing...I tried to do all I could, I tried as hard as I could!" Tiana cries, "She's dead, she's dead and I couldn't do a single thing to stop it!" Everyone stops celebrating, everyone gets still and not a sound can be heard on the ship except for the newborn's crying. Ariel and Belle, although unresponsive, were both breathing, but Aurora stopped breathing. She was dead.
"Aurora?" Snow cries, and runs to Aurora's side. "Aurora, Aurora, AURORA!" She screams. "Aurora can't be dead, she just can't!" Snow starts petting Aurora's hair, "Hang in there Rory, you're so strong, آپ can do this! I know you're not dead, I know it!"
"Snow," جیسمین, یاسمین cuts in.
"Belle is going to pay for this! How DARE she do this, why would she do this to Aurora, WHY?" Snow screams. Everyone is taken aback, Snow has never been this angry and emotional before.
Rapunzel rushes to Snow's side and tries to comfort her, but Snow pulls away. Snow, Rapunzel, and Aurora had been like the three amigos, but Snow and Aurora were especially close.
"I don't think Belle did this," Cinderella cuts in.
"What?" Rapunzel responds. "We saw her چھری Aurora in front of our very eyes, what do آپ mean she didn't do this?"
"I mean, did آپ hear the way she spoke? It didn't sound like her! It was as if she was...possessed! I'm not sure how, یا why, but I do know that we have to get to the village here and see what's going on. I have a feeling Belle and Ariel may be bigger victims than villains in this matter." Snow and Rapunzel are hesitant, wanting to blame someone for their friend's death, but they decide to go with the plan. It was the only way to get some truth.
"What will happen to Aurora?" Merida asks. Snow is still crying in the corner, and Rapunzel is still hugging her.
"We bury her first thing tomorrow morning." Cinderella says, trying to speak with authority and strength for the group, but sniffling out the words.
