An argument that I often hear against Aurora is that she doesn't have many flaws یا that they aren't shown very prominently. I've been thinking about it for a while, and decided to compile this فہرست together of Aurora's flaws. I hope آپ all enjoy, and as آپ know this is in no way to bash Aurora, she's my favorite, it's to دکھائیں that she's مزید dimensional and flawed than some think.

Aurora Is A Pessimist

The first flaw of Aurora is her pessimism. Think about it, when getting the news that she was a princess, instead of jumping for joy like an optimist would do, she cries about it. Instead of looking on the bright side that, ارے I'm a princess, all she can think about is that she'll never be able to see Phillip again. This also shows that she's a bit near sighted, meaning that she can only see what's directly in front of her instead of thinking about the future. (I.E. the قلعہ she'll get, reuniting with her parents, ect. all she can think about is what's directly in front of her.)



Aurora Let's Her Emotions Control Her

Aurora's pessimism leads to my اگلے point; she let's her emotions control her. She has high highs (after getting ہوم from the cottage) and low lows (finding out about everything) دکھانا that not only is she a bit unstable with her emotions, but that she is controlled سے طرف کی them. Instead of thinking logically about talking to a stranger, she gets into her emotions and despite her better judgement dances with him anyway.



Aurora Is Too Passive

This is one that many people hear often, and it is a bit of a flaw. There's nothing wrong with non-rebellious characters, but she doesn't even try to say to her aunts, "Oh, but if only I could see him one مزید time!" She just accepts it without سوال and doesn't try to take a risk سے طرف کی defying her aunts. The fact that she's never once tried to do anything about her situation of basically being trapped off from humanity after sixteen years shows that she's a bit too passive. Some use her passivity against her, but like all animated characters (and characters in general) it's important that they have a healthy balance of good and bad characteristics so they can seem real enough, but still good role models.
