Bonjour! I'm kinda new to fanpop, and I am a massive پرستار of Disney, but reading some of these مضامین that downgrade the amazing Disney Princesses is just sad. Sad.
While some of the points may be correct, I think they need someone to stand up for them sometimes. And that person will be me.
Snow White -
She's the one who started it all. For those of آپ who don't know, her movie came out in 1937. So sure, it's a little outdated. But that's because it was made like seventy-seven years ago. So it's not advanced stuff. Get over it.
On Snow White herself, most people seem to complain that she's either not pretty at all, یا her hair sucks, یا her voice is annoying, یا all of them. While I agree with the "voice is annoying" part, I don't agree that she isn't beautiful. She's commonly acknowledged as "Fairest of them all". A queen tried to kill her because of her beauty. I mean, come on. I love the contrast of her jet-black hair, ruby-red lips and pale skin. I think it's lovely. And she's not incredibly skinny so that all of her organs don't fit in (not mentioning any names). Her hair is in that bob-do because that was normal stuff in the '30s. We've just got to accept it.
Enough about her looks. I'll اقدام on to the character itself. People are always complaining that Snow White is one of those damsels in distress who does nothing and wants nothing but the guy. OK, as I mentioned previously, there was a Queen, OK, a QUEEN, who was trying to kill her. آپ can't say running away is not doing anything. And she manages to stay optimistic, quote: "I'm so ashamed of the fuss I've made" and finds the house of the seven dwarves. On سب, سب سے اوپر of all that, she asks to stay, but promises to cook and clean and keep house. Even though she's a princess, she doesn't expect to stay there for nothing. I think that's good of her. (She's even a little bossy, سے طرف کی making the dwarves wash their hands).
And she makes Grumpy a pie in the hope to strengthen their relationship. (If somebody made me a pie to strengthen our relationship, I would definitely accept).
Yes she did dream about the Prince but isn't that what every normal teenager does? آپ can't blame her.
Sure she was naive when she took the apple. I agree with that.
But I absolutely adore Snow White and I think the things that people say about her are too harsh. She's innocent, sweet, kind, and makes the best of her situation.
Cinderella-
Granted, Cinderella isn't exactly my favourite princess. (Actually she's at the bottom of the heap). But I will still defend her.
She's one of the eldest Princesses, I think she was nineteen یا something, and people expected her to get off her butt and start living. But, I think that's a bit hard to do. I mean, where would she go? What would she do? A teenage girl wandering the streets with nobody she actually knows (which I'm not sure is true but certainly implied) and no money? At least she had a room all to herself and food on the میز, جدول at her house.
Besides, I think she actually liked living there. It's a pretty big house, and she got on well with the animals. It's just the stepfamily part.
The story doesn't evolve around Cinderella wanting to leave. It's about her wanting to go to the ball. And she does. She works hard to get there - finishes her chores, designs a dress, tolerates her stepsisters' singing...
So it's a bit unfair to say that she didn't do anything about her dreams. Prince Charming didn't come to her. She went to find him.
Throughout her horrible treatment, she remained kind and considerate, and never gave up hope. I think that's pretty extraordinary for someone who's been treated terribly all her life.
There آپ have it. That's my rant about people saying harsh things about Disney Princesses.
(Well, two of them).
اگلے I'll be speaking about Aurora and Ariel.
Hope آپ enjoyed the مضمون and I would very much prefer it if there weren't any harsh comments. It's my opinion, guys.
Au revoir!
