This fanfic will be about AFTER the plot of Tangled, so if آپ haven't watched Tangled, I suggest آپ don't read this unless آپ want spoilers of the things that happened.

Rapunzel had just returned from the celebration her parents threw in honor of her return.

Do I really deserve this? She thought, im surprised they believed it was me, did they recognize my face? Is a parent's love for their child so strong that they can recognize them, even after not seeing them for 18 years, and seeing their completely different hair? They welcomed me back so easily, despite never really knowing me.


Then a troubling thought came to Rapunzel's mind.


Did they recognize me, یا were they so desperate for a child, they looked past love and just thought it was me because they had no one to turn to in searching for me?


No, I'm being ridiculous. They couldn't be THAT desperate, that's just ridiculous.


However, despite convincing herself that her troubling thought wasn't true, she worried herself to a large extent.


I need someone to talk to. Rapunzel thought, Maybe Eugene will understand. He told me about all of his troubles, now it's time for me to admit mine.


"Eugene?" Rapunzel called, "Eugene can آپ come here for a second?"



"Of course," Eugene answered.


"Eugene," Rapunzel tried to talk calmly, even though she was slightly worried about her thoughts, "I was wondering, about my parents."

"What were آپ wondering?" Eugene responded, "You don't seem too happy, آپ haven't seen them in 18 years though! آپ should be celebrating with them!"


"But," Rapunzel began to respond, "What if they don't really love me? What if they were so desperate for a child, that they would take anyone off the streets?"

"Of course they think it's you," Eugene responded, "They call آپ سے طرف کی your name!"


"It doesn't seem like they really think that's my name though. They always say it, strangely, almost sarcastically."

"Oh, please. What do آپ even know about sarcasm? You've been locked up in a tower for 18 years." Eugene responded angrily.


"Well I had to deal with plenty of sarcasm around you!" Rapunzel snapped.


"You're completely overreacting. You're not thankful that your parents welcomed آپ back!"

"My parents were desperate! They took one look at me and ran up and hugged me!"


"And is that a bad thing? Shouldn't آپ be happy they accepted you?"


"Accepted me? Are آپ saying they wouldn't have accepted me? Wait, so you're saying آپ don't think they recognized me either."


"Don't be ridiculous."


"What do آپ know?!"


"Nothing!"


"You know something! Now tell me!"


"Stop."


"I didn't want to have to so this, but I'm going to have to."


Rapunzel hit Eugene with a frying pan and dragged him into the castle.
