Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!). The film sees Rapunzel adjusting to life in Corona and introduces several concepts that the rest of the series will explore: Rapunzel's golden hair growing back, the growth of magical spiky rocks that can devastate Corona, foes with a thirst for revenge, Rapunzel and Eugene's marriage, and Rapunzel learning how to become a good queen.

At first, I was surprised that Tangled was getting a TV show. Even though I quite like the original movie, I didn't think there was any مزید story to be told. I'm happy to say that I was wrong! But on the other hand, there's a lot of stuff in this دکھائیں that I'm not fond of. I've watched every episode to تاریخ and my opinion of this دکھائیں has gone up and down. I actually think the best way to talk about this is to break this (spoiler-free!) review into three sections: the good, the bad, and the OK.

What's Good?

The Story: It's obvious that the writers have a clear plan for this دکھائیں because the overarching story is rock-solid. Recall my brief summary above. Throughout the show, Rapunzel is both investigating the magic behind her hair returning (along with the spiky rocks) and trying to be a responsible, attentive princess, since she will one دن assume the throne. The first season especially explores these concepts, and with a thrilling last few episodes, the دکھائیں goes in a new direction for season 2. Rapunzel and the gang set off to explore new lands in تلاش of جوابات to some pressing questions.
I think the pacing of مجموعی طور پر events is practically perfect. The writers know how to kick things off (ex: the pilot movie), delve into mystery/lore and develop characters (season 1), and change things up while still focusing on the goals they established (season 2). This is the strongest aspect of the show.

The Sense of Community: It didn't occur to me until about 75% through season 1 that the دکھائیں is trying to make Corona feel like a real community. Most episodes spend at least a little time developing some of the قلعہ members, the townsfolk, یا other friends. It hit me when characters like Monty stayed relevant after their first appearance, and others like Strongbow and Hookfoot joined the main cast.
Season 1 focused on Corona, but even in season 2, as the gang explores new lands, آپ get a sense of the people in them. The best example of this is the episode "The Return of Quaid," where Rapunzel and دوستوں help the people of Vardaros regain their moxy سے طرف کی searching out their former sheriff and ~town hero. Following episodes aren't quite as focused on specific towns like this episode is, but the gang still meets new characters along the way.

What's Bad?

The Main Characters: It seems kind of backwards to praise the show's efforts to establish the minor characters, and then criticize the main ones. Nevertheless, I have less than positive things to say about the gang. Bare with me; this is a long section.

Let's start with Rapunzel. While it makes sense for her to be naive (she DID live in a tower all her life), she's oblivious to what's going on around her to the point where it's annoying. In an early episode, "Challenge of the Brave," her friend and lady-in-waiting Cassandra (who we'll discuss soon) wants to enter the titular competition to prove she's مزید than just a lady-in-waiting. When Rapunzel finds out, she wants to enter too for the fun of it. She doesn't recognize that Cassandra is a little uncomfortable with it, nor how much the competition means to her. It's even مزید obvious in "Under Raps," when it looks like Cassandra met a guy she's interested in. Rapunzel doesn't mind her own business, یا just give some encouraging words and then leave. Instead, she constantly tries to "help" Cassandra with her date, even when she explicitly tells her that she doesn't want the help.
It's also annoying how over-the-top the دکھائیں can be in regards to Rapunzel. She avoids serious danger during the competition mentioned earlier سے طرف کی completing some of the stages via ballet moves and use of a guitar. And in another episode, "Rapunzel's Enemy," after failing to get on her newfound enemy's good side, she wears a disguise and uses a fake identity just to get the guy to like her! Thankfully, Rapunzel isn't this annoying all of the time, particularly at the end of season 1. She gets serious when she needs to.

Now for Eugene. He's probably my پسندیدہ of the main cast, but his character hasn't been دیا great treatment, either. He's often treated like comic relief, especially at the start of season 1. However, he does get some good development. He tries to become a better person, now that he's no longer a thief ("Fitzherbert P.I."), earn the respect of King Fredric, Rapunzel's father ("In Like Flynn"), and put his wish to marry Rapunzel on hold until she's ready to settle down (pilot movie and "Beyond the Corona Walls"). It's just too bad that in a lot of episodes, he gets dissed سے طرف کی Cassandra یا things just don't work in his favor.

And at long last, Cassandra, Rapunzel's lady-in-waiting. Here's the biggest issue with her: she's already established as Rapunzel's friend in the pilot movie. The pilot movie takes place not long after the original movie, and Cass is already Rapunzel's best friend? We didn't get to see ANY of that! It's annoying that the دکھائیں considers her important when we had no idea who she was. But, now that it's been a full season, we know her better. Warning: I don't like Cassandra. She's the tough girl character that we've all seen before, but her sass, sarcasm, and sort-of rivalry with Eugene make her almost unwatchable for me. The latter is especially annoying and raises questions. If she doesn't like Eugene, why the heck is she Rapunzel's best friend? Why isn't Rapunzel bothered سے طرف کی this fact? And how did they become friends, again?

The Animation: Believe me when I say that I was open to the اندازی حرکت and art style when it was shown in the show's first trailer. Flash has been used مزید and مزید in animated shows and shorts lately, and I've seen it put to great use, like in the Mickey ماؤس shorts since 2013. The look of Tangled: The Series was a little off-putting at first because it's such a different look than the movie, but it looked fluid enough that it might be decent.
A سال and a half later and I'm done pretending that it looks good. It doesn't. The اندازی حرکت looks cheap and even though it's fluid, it looks very stiff at times. The art style is not my favorite, either. I heard someone say that it's based on Rapunzel's own art style in her paintings. I didn't realize that on my own. That's a cool idea, but it just doesn't translate too well here.

Other: My other complaints mostly come from early in season 1. The دکھائیں sometimes suffers from inconsistent logic and hanging plot threads. The first episode brilliantly demonstrates the latter. "What the Hair!?" (actual name) has Rapunzel meeting young scientist Varian to learn why her hair grew back. Things go awry and the immediate area gets partly destroyed سے طرف کی the lab experiments. Varian gets reprimanded سے طرف کی his father...and then we cut to Rapunzel and friends. The episode totally drops the ball on Varian! What did he do next? Did he help clean up? Are the people nearby okay? I guess that wasn't important! Also annoying is the lack of logic in this show. Rapunzel has to wear a huge poofy wig in the pilot movie to hide her hair, but in the سیکنڈ episode, she can wear a small wig and that perfectly holds back her 50 feet of hair? Ridiculous.

What's Okay?

The Music: There are a few original songs in the دکھائیں and even in the pilot movie, and they're not bad. Most of them feel pretty average to me because the lyrics and melodies aren't particularly memorable. However, there are a few noteworthy songs, mainly towards the end of season 1. I know I don't like Cassandra, but MAN can she sing!

The Lessons: For the most part, the دکھائیں succeeds at teaching morals that I don't think most shows address. For example, the episode mentioned earlier, "Rapunzel's Enemy", says that آپ don't have to like everyone, and not everyone has to like you. Going forward, Rapunzel and her enemy respectfully dislike each other. In situations where they have to interact, they're almost strictly business and don't let their rivalry get too much in the way. That's...kind of great! I like that the دکھائیں successfully delivers unconventional messages. Unfortunately, آپ have to sit through the characters doing some bogus stuff sometimes to get there, like Rapunzel pretending to be somebody else for the sake of winning someone over.

Recommendation
I feel most Disney Channel and Disney XD cartoons are ideal for people ages 8 and up. Tangled: The Series feels like it was written for kids 5 and up. It definitely seems that attention is directed at the kids in the audience because of the whacky situations and childish antics of our characters...at times. At other times, they act mature and deal with intense situations. Thus, it's hard to tell who exactly to recommend this to.
I'd say that if you're remotely interested in learning about Rapunzel and Eugene's lives after the events of the first movie, ask yourself this: Are آپ patient enough to sit through the weaker parts? If so, then check this دکھائیں out. I'd recommend watching "Pascal's Story" as soon as possible; that's the episode that looks and feels most like the first movie. If آپ don't think آپ have the patience, it's probably a دکھائیں آپ can skip. Although I'm glad that I've kept up with this series, it doesn't feel like something I have to watch, unlike other cartoons that I enjoy.

To those who have watched the show, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on it. What do آپ think are the strong and weak points? Any and all تبصرے are welcome.
I WISH Rapunzel hated Cassandra as much as this picture implies.

Hello everyone. I'm just boring and suddenly I've got an idea to wrote my فہرست of prettiest Disney Princesses. All of the Princesses have their own typical of beauty. But for sure I have some of favorites. Anyway, here's my prettiest DP list:

13. Snow White

Why her? She's the fairest of them all! Yes, she's the fairest of them all. But for me she is مزید tend to cute than pretty. I don't really like the shapes of her small-sized brown eyes and her nose. Her face overally looks like چینی مٹی کے برتن doll. In fact, she can be pretty but I'm just not a پرستار of her اندازی حرکت styles. Her looks in DP...

Sorry it took me so long to finish this countdown. I just got lazy I guess haha. I did this countdown because while there have been multiple "Best Kiss" countdowns I have never seen the "Almost Kisses" get much appreciation. I think they are cute and suspenseful, so I thought I would give them the spotlight for once. Here are the results, compiled for your enjoyment. :)

9. Tiana and Naveen's 1st Almost Kiss

It's no surprise this kiss left first. It's the only one here that isn't romantic in the slightest, since Tiana doesn't even want to kiss him and she's only doing it to get her restaurant....

Since it's Valentine's دن soon I decided to write a few مضامین relating to that and I decided to do a فہرست of my پسندیدہ DP Couples, fittingly enough the last time I did this فہرست was around this time last year, since then my فہرست has changed a slight bit. Hope you'll like this article

11. Mulan & Shang

Imo they're مزید best دوستوں than a couple, their first meeting is hilarious though and I love how Mulan isn't afraid to دکھائیں off her feelings for Shang in a subtle way and how Shang chose to not kill Mulan despite the fact that women wheren't allowed in the army, it shows that...

I know we've probably had an excess of these over the last few months, but I don't care. In my humble opinion, there can never be too many مضامین defending Walt's girls. I believe Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora just as much praise and recognition as any of the Modern یا Renaissance princesses. The three classic Princesses receive a large amount of criticism. They include "weak", "passive", "need a man to save them", "boring", "do nothing", "need a man to save them", among others (that last reason is so incredibly stupid and sexist). These "arguments" are beyond cliché, mind-numbing,...

ارے everyone! The classic Disney films had such a knack for capturing the splendor and wonder of magic so I thought I'd rate all the DP films to see which ones are the most magical.
For this, I took the 5 most likely elements of magic in the Disney Princess films and added 1 category for the awareness of each 6 elements. This is because the مزید prominent magic would be in a story (or the world in the story), the مزید people should be aware of the magic as it would be hard to miss. Here are the 12 put together:

1. Magical Powers- Meaning that magic can be done without the use of items (like wands)...

Hi everyone!

Recently, I گیا کیا پوسٹ a سوال asking شائقین to فہرست five personality traits most desirable in a Disney princess. My traits poll, which was going to be the foundation of this article, was based on TheMusicalMolls' فہرست of traits; the first response. I didn't bother to check my سوال again for other responses, but when I returned to my سوال after I گیا کیا پوسٹ the poll, I was surprised to see that مزید شائقین had bothered to answer my question. At that point, it was only a handful of people, and since I found their lists highly similar to TheMusicalMolls', I let it be. I hope I didn't...

Here's my quick ranking on original DP films in part 1 of this مضمون series. Part 2 will follow with all the sequels, prequels and shorts. Hope you'll enjoy it!

12. Princess and the frog:
I found the script to be very lazily written, with no wow moments to remember and no surprising twists. The movie crawled at deathly slow pace, making me skip scenes in between. The اندازی حرکت was pretty average with nothing memorable except a few scenes in bayou and death of Dr. Facilier. I found the sett ups to be unflattering and lacked the Disney magic feel to it. The best set-up from the entire movie was...

I'm sorry but I disagree with each side. I mean I agree with each side but I don't. I think both sides of the argument are taking things way too far, and it doesn't need to.

Frozen شائقین need to just accept that not everyone likes this movie and Frozen haters need to learn that they are being just as rude as the Frozen شائقین and they just need to stop.

Both sides really need to stop because they're ruining this movie for me. They already ruined Elsa for me, and soon, I'll hate the whole thing, even Anna, who's my پسندیدہ DP.

Here's my ranking of Disney Prince, barring Prince Hans as he's the DP villain. Hope you'll find it entertaining.

11. Florian:
Apart from singing and دکھانا courtesy and respect to a young maid of lower status, there's literally no interaction and no scenes to understand his personality. It was kind of creepy for me that he'd kiss a supposedly dead maiden. So yeah, he's the last in my list.

10. Naveen:
Spoiled rich brat who didn't even learn after plundering all the ancestoral wealth and thought of fixing it the easy way to find a rich girl to marry. Too flirtatious, too lazy, too laid-back...

Trivia

1) Production designer Richard Vander Wende devised a simple color scheme for the film, inspired سے طرف کی its desert setting. Blue (water) stands for good, red (heat) for evil, and yellow (sand) is neutral. For example, the villainous Jafar is clad in blacks and reds, while the virtuous جیسمین, یاسمین wears blue. Another example is in the Cave of Wonders, where the lamp's chamber is blue, and the ruby that tempts Abu is bright red.

2) جیسمین, یاسمین was originally...

Did آپ ever know that Elsa and Anna had a cousin? Well آپ do now! Elsa and Anna have a cousin and there cousin is Rapunzel. Never knew that? Now آپ know. Rapunzel is cousins with the sisters Elsa and Anna. Rapunzel seems like she forgot she had cousins. I am not sure about Elsa and Anna if they forgot they had a cousin. How are they cousins? Elsa and Anna's mom is the sister of Rapunzel's mom. Now they are Cousins. Another weird thing. Both shows are created سے طرف کی the same person. Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Okay so I basically grew up without parents in a large sense. That being said, I always yearned for a loving, stable and consistent mother and father to teach morals, values, effective and constructive communication, consequences for actions, real love, respect, trust, honor, etc. Since Walt Disney founded the company under those family and character-based values, I have always been very attached to the Disney brand. That being said, I was thinking about the Disney Princesses' parents and if I could have traded my childhood situation with one of them, which would it be? Since I also love lists...

Peasant/Work Outfits:

7. Snow White's Brown "Servant's" Outfit:

As some of آپ may know, I recently did my version of a "Prettiest Princess" مضمون which rated the مجموعی طور پر attraction of each princess. What females look for in دوستوں will of course vary سے طرف کی personality so I decided to use the Disney Princesses as the model for my female scale. I made a ranking فہرست for each of them (of course, it is subject to my opinion of their rankings) and then combined all 13 lists to see how they'd rate each...
