Prince Ali, yes it is he
But not as آپ know him
Read my lips and come to grips with reality
Yes, meet a blast from your past
Whose lies were too good to last
Say hello to your precious Prince Ali!

So Ali turns out to be merely Aladdin
Just a con, need I go on?
Take it from me
His personality flaws
Give me adequate cause
To send him packing on a one-way trip
So his prospects take a terminal dip
His assets frozen, the venue chosen
Is the ends of the earth - whoopee!
So long, ex-Prince Ali!

This was the solo جیسمین, یاسمین was originally going to sing in Aladdin. It is included in the Broadway adaptation <3.

"Call Me A Princess" is a song intended to be sung سے طرف کی Princess جیسمین, یاسمین in Aladdin. In her early development she was supposed to be a typical, spoiled, bratty princess, and this song focused in on that. The developers scrapped the idea along with this song to make جیسمین, یاسمین the headstrong, compassionate woman we know today. If this song wasn't deleted it would have been the first solo song sung سے طرف کی Jasmine, but now that عنوان belongs to the song I've Got My Eyes on You.

The song was resurfaced in 2011 for the Aladdin musical, though the story behind the song has changed. Instead of جیسمین, یاسمین being a spoiled brat, the song was used سے طرف کی the princess to scare off suitors.

Call me a princess, I don't care
Call me obsessed with nails and hair
Only concerned with what to wear
Shallow and so blase

Go ahead, call me "royal pain"

Aladdin: I can دکھائیں آپ the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid
Tell me, princess, now when did
آپ last let your دل decide?

Aladdin: I can open your eyes
Take آپ wonder سے طرف کی wonder
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride

Aladdin: A whole new world
A new fantastic point of view
No one to tell us no یا where to go

Princess Jasmine: A whole new world
A dazzling place I never knew
But when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you
Aladdin: (Now I'm in a whole new world with you)
Princess Jasmine: Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feelings
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling

Saw an old سوال گیا کیا پوسٹ from a سال پہلے that inspired me to write this. The سوال was about which Disney Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope آپ guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate dancing. Both like to sing and dance with their forest animal friends. Both met their prince in a middle of a song and were serenaded to سے طرف کی their prince.

Cinderella & Belle:
Both came from decent families and lost their mothers early on. Both had bigger dreams than they were told to have (wanted a better life). Both married into royalty and both had no human friends. Both were a voice of reason around others.

Since I'm being so villainous, it seemed like an appropriate time to share MY OPINIONS on DP فلمیں villains and rank them in order. (Joke intended :D)

So here goes:

1. Maleficent:
with her one nasty evil stroke, she set the stage, She didn't dabble in small time efforts. Her character is the most alluring and unique. She was a fairy, but an evil one. She has the aura of an enchantress. I loved her confidence when she took the stage while casting out the spell.
The best villainy traits: downright evil, need no disguise, doesn't flaunt but does every act confidently and with most style.

2. Mother Gothel:
I loved the way she took the girl and raised her as her own daughter and conditioned her mind to believe that the outside world is a dangerous place. With this, she ensured Rapunzel's gift will stay with her for long long time. She could have kept her as a slave but was cunning enough to have a long term vision that sooner یا later Rapunzel might turn against her and will keep trying to escape.

Ok so I saw a talented user here post an مضمون about the Bechdel Test and being the Walt geek that I am, was immediately inspired to do a Walt Disney Test.

Walt Disney was unfortunately only alive to fully see over the production and release of Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty which are known as the "Classic Princesses". For this reason, I took everything in common that I could find with these 3 princesses for relevancy to rate the others. The 14 commonalities I found were: 1.) Beautiful Face 2.) In Shape Body 3.) Soft/Sweet Speaking Voice 4.) Singing Voice 5.) Dance Scene [Solo یا with Others] 6.) Modest Clothing 7.) Innocent Virtues (Kind, Modest, Reserved, Humble) 8.) Animal Friend یا Pet 9.) Marry the Prince [& Live Happily Ever After] 10.) There is Magic Involved in Their Story 11.) Female Villain 12.) Born/Married into Royalty 13.) Wear a Head/Hair Piece 14.) Have the Color Blue in at Least 1 Outfit

So, since the majority of the princesses have been made post-Walt's death without his supervision and approval, which ones would still meet his standards? The purpose of this is to see which princesses are the most up to what [b] Walt...

I feel a change of tone is in order. For this article, I am showcasing 4 of my absolute favourite Disney Princess پرستار art collections. Feel free to write your own <3

4. Disney/Avatar Crossovers سے طرف کی Racookie3

Avatar/Legend of Korra are without a doubt the best TV shows I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Because of that, I immediately fell in love with these beautiful پار, صلیب over pieces. The Pocahontas airbender is spot on, and the جیسمین, یاسمین firebender is visually stunning! Look at the colours!

Credit to: http://braveandboldthinking.com/2014/03/25/unveiling-the-truth-about-muslim-women/
First: Here is a link from an actual Muslim woman with her thoughts on how Muslim women are portrayed in America in general.link

Second: Here is my personal break-down analysis based on knowledge of Arab/Muslim culture compared to the Disney Aladdin film.

The majority of Princess Jasmine's numerous flaws stem from the fact that she is completely inaccurate and offensive to her culture. From the clothes she wears to the way she speaks, جیسمین, یاسمین does not represent Arab یا Muslim women at all but rather a disgraceful woman in their culture. Unfortunately, جیسمین, یاسمین is not a suitable role model for young girls.

1. جیسمین, یاسمین is dressed like a Harem girl instead of a princess. A princess is the daughter of the king who no man is allowed to touch without the king's approval. A harem girl is one of the king's many mistresses. No king would dress his daughter like his mistress. No father would want to see his daughter dressed in that way.

Tiana- The Under-rated

When Princess and the Frog came out it got people talking. Not only is Tiana a trailblazer for being the first African American Princess, but she was the first princess to independently have jobs and dedication to pursue a realistic career, I get that not every little girl dreams of having a business and they’d rather have the sparkly گاؤن, gown but I had hopes that Tiana would inspire them to come up with realistic goals. But .......she was not as loved as I thought . Also , some people ( SOME ONLY ) dislike her for her color tone !!!!!!!

Mulan- The Very Underrated

Now , she not underrated on Fanpop but outside , SHE IS . Few people dislike her because she is not a technical princess . Now its not necessary that DP has to be royal !!! Also , little girls don't appreciate her as much as others .

Pocahontas- The Very Underrated

Many people find her boring......very boring . Her movie was deep and emotional , its lack of entertainment was the reason it didn't attracted viewers and that is why she is not much مقبول .

This face honestly sums up how I felt when I read that article.
I know that this is my سیکنڈ مضمون in a week but there are some things that I just have to say.
A lot of آپ know that I'm a very big Frozen پرستار and seeing that there's going to be a sequel for it made me really happy, but also anxious.Because of that,I started fantasizing about what the sequel should be about.I fantasized about it being like The Hunchback of Notre Dame where they'll take a lot of chances and try to represent some mature subject matters.Or like the دکھائیں called Avatar where they give us likable and relatable characters that we can gravitate to while watching them go on a journey that would ultimately change who they are at the end.
However, after reading an article,my hopes started to fall apart. In that مضمون it's stated that they will دکھائیں a مزید playful side of Elsa. And I was like "You have got to be kidding". If آپ don't know why,you should check out some of my older articles.
Because of that,I've decided to make this مضمون to express what I want to see in the sequel for Frozen.

If the Disney Princesses were Housewives on Wisteria Lane, which house would be theirs? [If آپ are a Desperate Housewives fan, I included who lived there from the دکھائیں if anyone did.]

1. Snow White: 4350

This house is a nice beige color, between white (her skin) and yellow (her skirt). It has a gazebo style balcony that fits perfectly for her and her prince to dance around and sing to each other in. [Martha Huber/Felicia Tillman/Andrew VandeKamp]

2. Cinderella: 4354

This house is a beautiful big blue house, just like her beautiful big blue(ish) dress. It's like a palace but still with a cozy humble touch. Perfect to match her new life. [Bree VandeKamp]

3. Aurora: 4362

This is a very nice polished گلابی house that fits perfectly with her graceful, feminine and poised personality. [Edie Britt/Renee Perry]

4. Ariel: 4348

What if all of the Disney Princes were from American cities? Which ones would they be from? (*Note, I comprised this فہرست of where they would be born and raised from not where they would be most suited as a free choosing adult. That is another list.)

Floridian: Cape May, New Jersey
Because it is traditional and very romantic and serene.

Henry: Chicago, Illinois
Because it is the center of the mid-west. Perfect combination of traditional with some progressive and completely balanced.

Phillip: Miami, Florida
Because it is a laid-back and playful place.

Eric: Los Angeles, California
Because it is the biggest port town.

Adam: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Because it is an aggressive and violent place.

Aladdin: New York, New York

What if all of the Disney Princesses were American and lived in American cities? Which ones would they choose to live in? (*Note, I comprised this فہرست of where they would want to live as a free choosing adult, not where they would have been born and raised. That is another list.)

Snow White: Phoenix, Arizona
Because there is a large elderly population there so Snow could help them like she did the dwarves. She is also a conservative princess that I think would enjoy living out under the stars in a مزید traditional place.

Cinderella: Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota
Because it is a city rich in culture and education. Nice museums and tourist attractions but also very nice, humble, productive and friendly like Cinderella's personality.

Aurora: Denver, Colorado
Because it is a مزید corporate high end type place but also conservative and Aurora is very modest and traditional.

Cinderella: Dallas, Texas
Because it is very conservative and traditional. There are مزید gender roles so it would make مزید sense why Cinderella took the family abuse and didn't try to be independent.

If any of آپ are familiar with character stylization یا really art in general آپ might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the مصنف of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality is and compare it to the artist's (strictly NOT the writer یا director's) original idea of what they wanted the princess to come off as. And if this is at all interesting to آپ آپ can look up this with different artists سے طرف کی searching it as "the artist's definition of their work" and maybe آپ can find this with other characters.

P.S I know I had to do a lot of digging on the older movies, because of the lack of documentation, so good luck on the ones post 1980's!

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this مضمون ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in مقبول culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these aspects. Well now it's time to see how our beloved Disney Princess فلمیں stack up when put to the test!

[i]Disclaimer: This مضمون is not meant to bash any of the films یا say that they are "anti-feminist," nor do I necessarily think that this test is the best way to determine if a film is "feminist" یا not. I simply thought it would be fun to see which فلمیں pass the test. آپ can find a lot of info on the Bechdel Test online, including different versions and criticisms of it. I am using a slightly مزید strict version which requires the two female characters to be...

Moana follows the adventure of spirited teenager Moana Waialiki (set to be Disney's first Polynesian princess) who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors’ unfinished quest. Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast South Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped — and no one today knows why.

During her journey, she meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.

Like most of the modern era Disney Princess movies, Moana will be CG-Animated. The film is to be directed سے طرف کی John Musker and Ron Clements, who were both the directors of Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and The Princess and the Frog. This will be Musker and Clements' first fully computer-animated film.

Snow White : Snow White is a perfect example of Miss Goody Shoes . She is way too kind .... and foolish as well !! I mean who takes an سیب, ایپل from strangers یا marry a stranger ???!!!!!

Aurora : Ahhh .... well , the girl really needs development . I find her quite bland and boring as well . I want to know مزید about her !!! Except for the fact that she is sweet and pretty , I hardly know something about her personality !!!!

Elsa : Elsa didn’t selfishly abandon her kingdom. She ran out of fear that she was a danger to it (which she mistakenly proved correct). Selfish would’ve been if she ran away because she didn’t want to be queen. Not the case. She ran because she didn’t want to bring harm to anyone else like she accidentally did Anna when they were children. But definitely instead of running , she could have deal with her problems . She was not very careful as well . And then her development ...... not so good .... not good at all .... BAD !!!!

This is my opinion only. But I believe the reasons that Evil Queen from Snow White and Lady Treamine from Cinderella mistreat the titular characters is different from the in-story explanation.

Evil Queen used the fact Snow was pretty as an excuse to get rid of an heir to the تخت which I presumable that the Queen was ruling for Snow.

Lady Treamine's daughters might be older سے طرف کی a few months in the animated Disney movie. And back in those days older daughters were suppose to marry before younger ones.

I don't really have a reason for Edward's step-mother, Narcissa. But I assume that the Kingdom is suppose to be run mostly سے طرف کی a Queen?

ارے guys, what's up? I'm doing this cause I feel like hardcore ratings. So here is a rule, no redesigns. All they truly do is fuck up the hairstyles. I'm not listing them. I'm just rating, so it doesn't go like that. Also, I joke a lot. Those who know me well know I joke a lot. So the first princess on the فہرست is:

Snow White:

We saved the first for first! Snow White does have nice hair, I like it, But I feel it's too short. Perhaps if it was longer I'd like it more. The bow is very cute and adds to her unbearable cuteness.

6/10 tops :3

Cinderella:
She had three hairstyles. And it's now against the rules to do alternate hairstyles. I'm doing their simple hairstyles that disney goes through...you know what I mean. So to the ratings, I don't really like her's. It's kinda meh to me. Not good, not bad. Like really meh. I don't know

5/10

Aurora:

She's my favorite. I think it's quite obvious she rocks them curls, they're just flawless! Just gonna mention her redesign...WHY?! آپ DO NOT MESS WITH THE CURLS, OMG! BURN THE REDESIGN, BURN IT!!!!

(DISCLAIMER:I don't hate any princess, I have my least پسندیدہ but still..)
13. Elsa

Although I love ALL Disney Princesses I find Elsa to be extremely annoying and overrated. But I can't say that to anyone without them griping at me! Originally Elsa was at number 9 یا ten on this فہرست but the شائقین dropped her down even more. So why else besides شائقین do I put her here? She can't take responsibility for her actions! She never stood up to anyone and blamed the whole thing on Anna, when it was partially her fault. Elsa should have told Anna at the coronation about her powers, it's not like it would've killed her!

12. Aurora

Her and Elsa keep switching between 12th and 13th place . I feel really bad about not putting her higher but I can't! Her personality is kind of meh because...she didn't really have time to really develop. All she did was sleep. I guess she's so low because she's kind of....I don't know boring?

Just wanted to add in مزید songs, but anyway hope you'll like this مضمون :)

link - Axwell Ingrosso
When I first heard this song I instantly thought of Snow White, it's mainly the happy feeling of the song that makes me think of her

link - Nightwish
I don't know exactly why, but this one makes me think of Snow White a lot, at first I thought this one suited Aurora and Belle the best, but the fast speed of it made me think of Snow White instead, seriously this one could suit pretty well into the Silly Song scene. This one could also suit Rapunzel quite well in that sense, but it has a مزید classic feeling to it imo

link - Nightwish
Can't believe I forgot to add this song in the original article, this one actually suits Snow White quite well

Hello there! I'm ApplesauceDoctr here today with my third DP Song Analysis article. I've forgotten how much I enjoy writing these, and since I re-watched Brave a few days ago, I thought I'd analyze one of its most notable songs -- "Into the Open Air".

Before we begin, thought I'd mention this -- the chorus occurs twice in the real song (the one آپ can purchase from the soundtrack), but only occurs once in the actual movie. The lyrics for the two are quite different, but because we only hear one version in the movie, I'll only discuss that one we hear. :D

This love, it is a distant star
Guiding us ہوم wherever we are
This love, it is a burning sun
Shining light on the things that we've done

Important Note: This song uses the terms "we" and "us" very often, referring to both Merida and Elinor. (There are some instances where "I" is used, but مزید on that later.)
The first line about the "distant star" is...a little vague. And arguably, the part about the "burning sun" is as well. But the use of these terms makes sense سے طرف کی comparing it to their love -- یا rather, سے طرف کی comparing...

Before anything, i have to say that my english is pretty bad so they will be some spelling mistakes here
Not trying to critic anything , oh and please this is an idea that came to my mind , but if anyone in fanpop already had done something similar, please let me know so i can erase it

Snow white: while, her beauty was a huge point in the movie , the main thing that made her stepmother hate her , if snow wouldn't beautiful, there is no reason why made her a servant یا trying to kill her , sure she would still keeping her inner beauty but queen grimhilde doesn't seem to mind about that

Cinderella: it was also a huge thing in the plot,as her evil stepmother was jelaous about her.
If she wouldn't pretty she probably wouldn't make her a servant (neither treat her well though)
The animals would definitely still loving her , while i doubt she would get along with her stepsisters her life won't be so bad
The sad thing is that when she goes to the ball, the prince just ignore her cause there won't be love at first sigh ,she wouldn't become a princess
