Rapunzel manages to be a strong character without having to fit into a stereotypical concept of strength being defined by physical abilities or being robbed of her feminine features, at the same time displaying quick thinking and exceptional problem solving skills in extreme and dangerous situations despite being sheltered and emotionally abused for her entire life, knowing little to nothing about the outside world and still managing to work through ehr insecurities and anxieties. Basically, she is a wonderful combination of natural curiosity, intelligence, ability to stand up for herself and emotional strength.
