Not sure if cheesy is the right word. For example songs like Reflection, A Whole New World, Part of Your World and Colors of the Wind. They're all GORGEOUS songs but... the lyrics aren't even deep IMO and the melody isn't all that great.

On a certain level, yes. Especially a Whole New World. But a song only has as much meaning as you give it, after all.

I don't know if I would call Colors of the Wind cheesy, but a good amount of them are, like A Whole New World and I See the Light. They are still good songs regardless, and I think people like the cheesiness, even though they deny it

NOT AT ALL! A whole new world is a bit cheesy but that is it. Part of your world is not cheesy. I don't know how in any way part of your world could be cheesy. Colors of the wind gives such a deep message it cannot possible be cheesy. That song is basically saying, we have done so many things for ourselves but so many careless things for nature. How high does the sycamore grow, if you cut it down, then you'll never know. They are saying people should take a second look at what amazing things are in nature. After all, would we live without our trees and plants. Overrall, NONE of the popluar ones (colors of the wind, part of your world, relfection, a whole new world) are cheesy imo with the exception of a few like kiss the girl (overrated and cheesy)

Colors of the Wind is EXCEPTIONALLY cheesy, Reflection, Part of Your World, A Whole New World, I See the Light, and Someday My Prince Will Come, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, I Wonder, Once Upon a Dream, and Almost There to a certain extent. They're all great songs, though.

I just look at Colors of the Wind as a preachy song. And there are lyrics in there that literately don't make any sense. I think most people are aware of what they are doing to the planet but still do horrible things to it.

I'd say the most popular (not my fav) are generally:
Snow White - "Some Day My Prince Will Come" - very cheesy IMO
Cinderella - "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" - nice, but v cheesy
Sleeping Beauty - "Once Upon a Dream" - adore it, but could be considered cheesy
The Little Mermaid - "Part of Your World" - kind of, not really, idk
Beauty and the Beast - "Beauty and the Beast" - very romantic but not rly cheesy
Aladdin - "A Whole New World" - kind of
Pocahontas - "Colors of the Wind" - I personally don't think it's cheesy at all
Mulan - Either "I'll Make a Man Out of You" or "Reflection" (tied) - Former is not cheesy, latter is more cheesy than the former but overall I don't think it's cheesy
The Princess and the Frog - ...um what's the most popular song? Maybe "Almost There" - kind of, not rly
Tangled - "I See the Light" - nice, but yeah, cheesy

It's sort of hit and miss, for me. Btw, 'cheesy' doesn't necessarily mean bad, but I'd say the more popular songs are generally more cheesy than the lesser popular songs, if that makes sense. Gosh, I've said the word "cheesy" so many times in this comment, the word just looks weird to me now. hahah
