I know, I know. I took a page from rapunzelsgold_. Rapunzelsgold_ I nod to you, respectfully. But this is another valid question.

For me the biggest flaw with Frozen is Elsa herself. She does nothing about the problems she faces, and lets everyone complain at her to fix things. And, in the end, she isn't brave, and she learns very little about controlling her powers.

I also don't like the villain, I don't like the songs, and I think the plot is almost not there...at all. Everything is so randomly done, that it is almost incoherent.

Even though I'm not fond of her, I see most Frozen detractors how she's a good aspect of the film (i disagree but).

I'm not sure, but my biggest peeve is some of the messages shown in there, like the forgetful parents or the fact that Anna seems manipulated by almost everybody around her.

It's all messed up with no sense of character build and thrown together in a ninety minute film just like that! And then slapped the words "princess" and "Disney" in there just so people could over look the flaws and fall instantly in love with a cliche movie! V

You know Anna is the main character (protagonist) and Elsa is the secondary (deuteragonist), right?

^^^ Actually, I find that debatable. The main character ( in most stories) is the character around which the main plot revolves. In this case, the main plot is about Elsa's ice powers and her inability to control them--- so this makes her ( deuteragonist though she may be) the main character of the film. The story is told from Anna's point of view, but the main character, in fact, is Elsa.

...and everything else. I just don't like Frozen!

I agree with Silver Rose 1991, Imo Anna is the protagonist or main character of the movie...most of the screen-time is reserve to her and she is the one that interacts with every other characters in the movie. My biggest issue is the villain...I really dont like the twist

^I already explained why Elsa IS the main character: the entire plot of Frozen revolves around her! Anna's romance issues are but side-plots attached to the main plot.

No one complained when The Little Mermaid movie poll and other polls featuring Ariel got rigged. Rigging happens.

^Petty, petty. The difference is that the TLM poll got 29 votes, and this one has 42 votes in a lot less time. Just because Ariel was winning doesn't mean it was rigged while the polls on here are constantly rigged against Elsa, including this one.

If anyone knows me they know I adore Elsa in every single way possible. When Elsa finds out she froze Arendelle she tries concealing her powers and fixing the problem, not running away from them. Elsa in the end does learn how to control her powers and fixes all the wrong she did. Throwing the Duke out, putting Hans in his place, and after the kingdom completely pushed her out building them an ice rink. Elsa also promises she won't lock the gates again and builds the relationship she always wanted with her sister. I adore Elsa and think she's wonderful, but sadly most people don't have the same look on her. But, whatever. I don't have that many problems with Frozen. Some small things I would change here and there but I feel that way with all movies.

I'm not being petty. The Tiana ones get rigged, as well. Whatever.

The plot also gets a lot of hate. Elsa gets slightly more though. (Though the rigging makes it seem as if she has more hate than she actually does, in most polls.) and just because the plot revolves around her doesn't make her the main character. It just makes her a plot device.

Or the songs, with the exceptions of For the First Time in Forever and Love is an Open Door.

While unexpected, he does seem kind of weak. Also, I think the story could have been handled a little differently so as to a) better develop Elsa and b) better develop her relationship with Anna.

@8804: You're right. Elsa is just like Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes... XD The main character is Holmes but it's from Doctor Watson's point of view.

Elsa is a victim of the bad writing. John Elssater, Lasseter I mean, watched over Elsa's character too much. Trying to make her relatable, developed, instead of bland and underdeveloped. The movie is created because of the songs, not vice versa. So, the best thing in the movie is, of course, the songs. Then the animation, next the characters, and last is the plot.

this, the songs, and Elsa.. or rather, her terrible theme song, lack of characterization, etc. while being hailed as the bestest coolest baddest princess ever.

One of Disney's weakest villains. They should have stuck with the original concept of Elsa as the main antagonist.

Not really a fan of Anna either.

it starts off fine, but i feel like after she finds elsa the plot just unravels and everything stops making sense.
and there are so many things like the troll song that are just...really unnecessary and drag the movie down.
