It's understandable but most of the stuff she says has "I" and "me" in it.

No not really, she actually barely ever thinks of herself. throughout most of the movie her character has been to hide,so others don't get hurt. Then all the suddenly, people find out about her powers and once that happens she runs away completely oblivious on what damage she caused. She left to the northern mountains, to get her freedom and have others including her sister; not get hurt. She barely ever does anything to benefit herself. Her plans of living up in the mountain for the rest of her life is obviously going to make her lonely and not even be able to see the sister she wanted to know. The only up side for her is freedom. She tried to keep the village safe as much as she could. If she would have stayed, she probably would putted more people in danger and sooner or later, it would get worse for both sides; going by her train of thought. She had to think up something really fast, lives depended on it and at the end she had no idea what to do. So she thought up what she could and ran away, hoping that it'll keep everyone safe from her. I actually think she is the complete opposite of self-oriented. I think it was more then understandable on where she was coming from and if I was her, I would of probably did the same exact thing.

Yes, although honestly I think she deserves to think about herself more. After all, she's spent her entire childhood locked in her room. She's a bit selfish but I don't blame her.

Her life sucked cuz she spent it trying to protect everyone from her powers! If she was selfish than she wouldn't even care and she'd be a big evil crazy ice queen

She was protecting her sister, but she could be a bit self-oriented.
