This is such a good question... I don't know.

The pink dress is pretty and so is Cinderella, but she doesn't have the same "wow" effect that she does in the sparkly dress.

Good question, actually. I think he would have, but maybe it wouldn't have been immediate. The dress she wore made her really stand out from the crowd and made him instantly infatuated, but once they eventually got to share a dance together, I think the effect would have been the same, regardless of what dress she was wearing.

that's the point. Cinderella was the only one who wasn't sucking up to him or putting on a show for him. She was just wandering around admiring the castle looking like she didn't know what to do and he liked that.

I agree with AudreyFreak and anaswill. Also, I doubt Prince Charming is that shallow.

I don't think so, her appearance wasn't dramatic enough in the pink dress.
