Disney Princess Do آپ think Disney should create a Heroine franchise to be separate from the Princess franchise?

Yes: Too many differences & too limiting with new female characters.

No but they should rename the current "Princess" line as "Heroine line".

No, "princesses" don't really exist anymore so it doesn't matter.

And "No, "princesses" don't really exist anymore so it doesn't matter." ?? What?
If you take out Mulan, there is only Ariel, Cinderella, Punzie, and Merida, who are the other girls that are the most "active" in the heroic sense; these girls are focused on saving lives, leaving abusive situations, or on undoing curses ( with a dash of romance on the side/ or no romance at all on the side). All the rest ( Snow, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Tiana, Anna, and Elsa) all display less heroism, and they act more clueless in their situations, since their hands are tied and "they don't or won't" break rank with the imposed rules they face to improve their lot. They also don't go around saving multiple lives the way Ariel, Cindy, Punzie, and Merida do... The lone one who does, Pocahontas, still "has growing to do" at the end of her movie, and that's why she stays home--- to grow up.
I'd have added Esmeralda back into the lineup like the old days, when she was a part of it. I'd have added Megara and Jane, too. "Princess" is an extremely loosely applied category for Disney. And taking good characters out doesn't solve the issue. It only makes the lineup EVEN more narrow and non-heroic.
Food for thought, if they separated the lines then maybe they could add forgotten characters like Eilonwy and Kida to princesses and ones you mentioned to heroines and make it more categorical?
