Not too long ago, one user did a countdown for the wedding dresses that appeared in the movie. I think it would be fun to do a countdown for the real life DP inspired wedding dresses because they are beautiful and I just think it would be fun to do. I can start a countdown. I just want to know if people will be interested.

I don't think I've seen a countdown on them before. I was also thinking of doing a separate countdown for the veils or would that be too much?

Definitely. I was thinking of doing a giant countdown with all of them, rather then just by year or by princess. Then I wanted to have a separate article with the winner for each year and each princess.

The collection I'm looking at is Alfred Angelo.
It doesn't seem to include Mulan, Pocahontas, Merida, or Anna.
I plan on using his dresses because his collection is the most well known and popular but let me see if I can find another designer who has all the DP's

Oh I think you should stick with the Alfred Angelo collection. I can see why they wouldn't include Poca, Mulan, and Mer. (Poca doesn't get a happy ending, Mulan's not really focused on romance, and Mer actively rejects marriage.) I think they just included Elsa because she's so popular and it would be a stupid business decision not to. Also, I'm not sure there is a collection with all the princesses. To my knowledge Alfred Angelo is the only bridal company that has partnered with Disney, and any other company that tried to do so would probably have a big lawsuit on their hands since these characters are copyrighted.

Organize the countdown however you like! :) I like your idea of doing an article for the winning dress of each year and of each princess. It would be a great way to showcase a variety of the fans' favorites, rather than just having one dress be the final winner of the entire countdown.

I really want to do various other articles showcasing the dresses he has. He has a collection for bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses, all DP themed.

that's super fun! I'm glad you are pursuing it :) You know i love DP weddings, so this will be great! I was always confused with which designer to pick, that's why i never did this countdown. But great choice!

I think I'll go with the Alfred Angelo collection because he is partnered with Disney. It's on the Disney wedding site too, so it's like these are the official designs. I'll have to organize all the photos together so I can get it started within the next week. I'm glad people are interested and think this is fun too. =)
