Mulan saved all of China by joining the army, risking death if she was caught. Pocahontas possibly saved her entire tribe, not to mention John Smith from being beheaded. Ariel went for her dreams, which is good, but it doesn't neccessarily make her brave.

Just compared to the others....Ariel is determined, but she didn't do the feats that the other two did of bravery.

She is brave, but for sure not as brave as Mulan and Pocahontas.
