Okay, my big problem is that in every Disney Princess movie, the princesses are morally sound and they teach the prince a lesson. I would LOVE to see a princess movie where the PRINCE teaches the PRINCESS the bigger lesson. A reverse of Tangled. In all the princess movies, its always the princess who teaches the amoral prince a bigger lesson. Why can't the princess (or heroine) be the rogue without morals, and the prince be a genuinely good guy trapped up in his tower, waiting to be set free? Belle changes Beast. Pocahontas changes John. Tiana changes Naveen. Rapunzel changes Flynn. There is literally not a single princess movie where the prince changes the princess, in a much bigger way than the reverse. It's like, the princess is always expected to be morally sound, and the prince can always rely on the girl to change her. It really bothers me. Mulan of course, goes through a bigger change than Shang, but she changes herself, he doesn't teach her anything. Ariel changes for Eric, yes, but he is not actively changing her. The three classic princess and princes don't teach lessons either way to each other, respectively. And yes, Jasmine changes Aladdin, but Aladdin doesn't teach a lesson to Jasmine. I would really really love to see a princess who doesn't necessarily have a bad personality, but is a rogue, a thief, jaded by life, not bouncy-perky, and a prince who is a really great (perhaps naive) guy who is stuck in his castle yearning to be set free. So it would show that its okay not to be the perfect girl all the time. And that not all guys are bad and need to be changed. I'm just getting a little sick of the perfect and/or naive princesses they keep churning out, and the bad-personality or flat princes we have. I'd love an amoral princess who is changed (morally, like a reverse of Rapunzel/Flynn or Tiana/Naveen) by her prince. She doesn't even have to be a princess- I'd LOVE, actually prefer if she was a rogue/theif like Flynn or Aladdin, and the Prince was the prince.

Although I doubt it would ever happen, I think it would be very interesting and bring about an interesting change.

I'd also really like to see a princess of a different sexuality, but I don't think that would ever happen considering there would probably be more people angry about it than pleased with it. A different race is always good, too.

We can't really say now, since our information on "Brave" is limited, but it seems (from what I've read) that Merida is going to be a little unruly and cause a lot of problems. Not exactly, a rogue, but I think it's the closest we'll get. Also, not exactly sure if there'll be a love interest or not.

I have to go with princesslullaby's comment. I'd like to see Disney make a spoiled, rotten princess instead of some prissy goody-two shoes. I love the princesses, but the nice attitude is gettin old.

A spoiled rotten princess? I find that cliche even though not a single Disney princess is like that. But I would like a princess who was on the bad side. I'm not gonna touch the different sexuality thing. It would be interesting but ain't gonna happen. This, the Hispanic princess, this better happen! :P

I also agree with princesslullaby. I want a princess who is flawed and makes mistakes instead of being right all the time, who grows throughout her movie and who learns lessons along the way.
