She tricked her mum into changing her fate basically. By using a magic cake.

She does nothing in the movie! Come on people how can she be a good role-model when she has such little screen time? We don't really know anything about her. We even know more about Elsa than about her.

Though she ends up asking forgiveness, changing her fate by changing her mother is not a good role model. Also letting war comes just for your own silly freedom is also bad.

Again, why is Aurora's lack of time relevant? Especially when anyone who's watched the thing can learn a lot about her. How exactly are the more selfish, rebellious, temperamental girls better role models than someone who listens to her elders, is cautious, responsible, didn't chase after Philip but did what was right, is kind, etc. I know more about her than Elsa, by far but again, this has nothing to do with anything. I think some of you just dislike her so much you're grasping at any reasons, even when they're illogical.

Agreed with 3. Merida did a good thing, but does it really make up for everything else, seeing as she's supposed to be this era's role model?

I think the rest are better

Aurora is kind and listens to her elders but she is also basically a plot device. She has no agency and we are never shown whether she chooses to be a princess out of duty or because she has no other options. I would rather have a character that makes mistakes, fixes them, and learns from them than a character who is asleep for half of the film. I think this all boils down to what kind of a role model you want: do you want someone more realistic and is capable of making selfish decisions so long as they learn more about themselves in the end, or someone who is more of an archetype and practically perfect? Personally, I want a role model that shows girls it is okay to make mistakes because to err is human and to keep calling Merida selfish and bringing up her past actions with no regard to her development is in a way, denying her humanity. I don't want perfection because it doesn't exist, I want a character that learns and grows.

Aurora isn't perfect either. Look how many people pick at her flaws. But while I get the mistake thing, role models are also supposed to inspire you to do your best. So personally I don't always see a problem with 'perfect' characters. I think Belle and Rapunzel are too perfect sometimes but that's what gives them good qualities. And as for being a plot device, this also has nothing to do with it. if it did, you guys should count that against Elsa and Jasmine as well, as they're the same thing.
