I walked around The Disney Academy with my best friend, Alice, holding one of many maps, open. This map showed the entire layout of the campus.
“Now, if that’s the Art Tavern,” I کہا looking over at the building and then back at the map, “That must be the Girl’s Freshman Dorm Building. Right?... Alice?” I looked around to make sure she was still walking with me. I found her nose buried into a book.
“Alice!” I کہا grabbing, and shutting the book from her hands. She looked up in alarm.
“Hey! I was just getting to a good part!” Alice snapped at me. Trying to grab the book back from my hands. I raised it up holding it above her head. I often used this against her considering I was taller than her.
“No, no, no! Look it! It’s our dorm house!” I pointed to an ivy covered building windows, and sliding glass doors lining the walls. The doors lead to private porches. Goodness, I hope we get a dorm on one of the سب, سب سے اوپر levels. I thought to myself, thinking I would not want people to be able to get on my porch and into my dorm.
“Wendy, don’t look now but..” Alice کہا slowly. I followed her gaze to the freshman courtyard. Two people stood out immediately to me. They were sitting on the lawn -- making out.
“Bleh, I can’t believe two kids are mixing their saliva toget-” When I realized that the two kids were Peter and Tiger Lily. My spirits dropped.
“I told آپ not to look!” Alice said, putting her hands up, as if she were innocent. I shook my head, my ringlets bouncing as I walked over to the nearest bench resting my head in my palms.
“I know, I know. It’s not your fault. I just can’t believe Peter likes her. Little Miss I was named after the most beautiful flower! and My great-great-great grandmother was an Indian Princess, so technically I’m royalty.” I کہا annoyingly. Peter, Tiger Lily, Alice and I, all went to Beaumont Elementary and Middle School. Peter and I were best دوستوں up until 3rd grade, which is when Tiger Lily moved to our town. I had just started to develope feelings for Peter, but then one دن when we were walking ہوم together He told me something that crushed me.
“Wendy, don’t tell anybody, but I kinda like Tiger Lily. I think I’m gonna ask her out tomorrow!” I smiled and nodded but, was actually holding back tears.
“Really? That’s Great!” Ever since then, they’ve been dating, Peter and I haven’t been friends, and I still have feelings for him.
“Look at them!” I sighed to Alice, “They’re inseparable! Eternally in love! Sticking each others tongues down the others throats! It’s disgusting.” I shook my head.
“Oh, come on. It’s not that bad. I’m sure he still considers آپ one of His friends. And plus if that hadn’t happened we never would’ve been friends!” Alice کہا slowly inching her hand towards her book, that I was still holding.
“True, but are آپ kidding?” I said, handing Alice her book, “They never leave each others sight! Did آپ hear that they even asked to share a dorm?” I کہا looking back at them.
“Really?” Alice کہا tearing herself away from her book.
“Ya. Go Figure!” I shook my head and picked up the maps.
“Well, let’s get inside. We better start unpacking our luggage otherwise we’ll never be ready for our first دن tomorrow.” I کہا pulling her off the bench.
“Ok.. Just let me finish this....” Alice started but I decided to finish, “Oh come on! We’re going to be late for check in!” And we walked inside to our new ہوم for the on coming school year.
