I decided to start a series of analyzing the DP Couples in depth (and later, the other Disney Couples) after I got bored one day, and wanted to write a series of articles. آپ can recommend me which couple to do اگلے in the couples section. So here is how it is going to go. I will first explain my مجموعی طور پر statement about the couples in a paragraph, and then I will analyze each scene to look at the inner and outer feelings of the characters individually an the couple itself.

The Rescuers

First thoughts right after watching the Movie
After watching "The Rescuers" I think it is a cute animal couple. They just subtly flirt and compliment one another and Bianca kisses him in the cheek یا nose. It is not the main focus of the movie, but آپ can tell in an instant that they like one another and only that.


So, all the mice were singing their anthem, and Bianca is دکھانا late. Bernard the janitor was singing the anthem and as Bianca walked past him, she stares at him and he looks up nervously. Bernard is told to open the bottle and grabs a comb to climb and open the bottle, as Bianca is staring at him the entire time, even after he gets stuck in the bottle. He gets the note out, though still being stuck, and watches her as she reads the watered-out note. She is told to choose a male partner to go on the case with her because she is "too delicate" according to Bernard, and she chooses him. It is clear she chooses him because she wants to be near him and is interested in him, and says that they would make a good team, even though he is still nervous. Long after they leave the society meeting, they come off the transit they are on to find the orphanage. Bianca suggests that they go through the zoo as a shortcut, and they walk with their arms linked together. Seeing as how it is getting darker as they walk مزید into the zoo, she suggests they go back. To دکھائیں that he is brave and tough, Bernard goes deeper in the zoo to see if it is safe. He accidentally wakes up a tiger, and runs away from it as it arks. He remembers to grab Bianca, and they leave the zoo. She asks him why did he make the tiger upset, and Bernard just mumbles. They share an umbrella and continue on their way. They reach the orphanage to look for clues, and the cat tat was Penny's friend tells them about when he last saw her, which leads them to Madame Medusa's pawn shop.


They go to Madame Medusa's pawn دکان and immediately find a 1st grade book that is Penny's, and hide in fright after they hear the phone ring. Madame Medusa is introduced, and talks about her evil plan. She decides that she is going down to Bayou's Lake immediately and gets her suitcase. They decide to go with her, and only Bernard makes it in the suitcase. Bianca is barely able to keep up with the suitcase and makes it into the car and the suitcase. Thanks to Medusa's crazy driving, the suitcase falls out of the car, leaving them stranded. The scene changes to them rushing through the airplane (just coming form packing) and Bernard blames Bianca for taking so long to pack. They go to "Fly Albatross Air Service" and he says they missed their flight and she says that the birds are always late. Right after, Orville shows up,causing him to fear as Orville is a bad flyer. Bianca calls him a "fraidy-cat" for wanting to take the train. They go on the bird, and Bernard says that her seatbelt is too loose, and she says it will ruin her dress if it is tighter, and tells him to stop worrying (for that and for them running through a red light), and kisses his nose which makes him smile and blush. As they are on the flight, they look at the view together, and many other things, and when he is trying to talk, she purposefully leans on him, and he smoothly wraps her arms around him. They fall asleep like that and only wake up because the fireworks from Medusa hit Orville, and they are falling fast. Bianca falls form the bird and is saved سے طرف کی Bernard and the umbrella. They land at a country ماؤس couple's house, and they all witness Penny get caught from running away.


The country couple offer them their boat, which is just a firefly holding a leaf. They are on the boat, and enjoy it until Bianca falls and almost goes through the waterfall, but is saved again. They soon sneak into the secluded ہوم and hide under a counter, but is caught سے طرف کی the crocodiles because of the perfume Bianca is wearing. So they hide in the piano to hide from them, and the crocodiles are determined to eat the two. Bernard is almost eaten سے طرف کی them, but is saved سے طرف کی Bianca. As they are on the floor, Snoops and Madame Medusa sees them and she orders him to kill them. They avoid Snoops, so Medusa grabs her gun and shoots them randomly, failing at every chance. They sneak out of the house, and are sad that they failed so far, and he wants to give up. She says that they would be letting down the Rescue Aid Society, and they decide to stay.


Penny comes out to look over her balcony, and they watch her cry. They decide to go to her bedroom and they tell her that they are here to rescue her. She asks if they brought a guard, and they respond no. They quickly comes up with a plan to escape. The morning after, Medusa forces Penny (with Bernard and Bianca in her pocket). They actually find the diamond soon after being underground but they struggle to get it out. The tunnel gets flooded for water, and Bernard almost drowned, but is saved again سے طرف کی Bianca. The three then fall under the hole that is filled in water, and almost drowns, but the water floods out of the tunnel, with them being saved from drowning. Penny takes the motor and escapes with Bernard and Bianca. Back at the society, they watch the TV and are glad that Penny got adopted. Another case is presented to them, and Bianca volunteers them to go, because she likes the adventure and excitement. The film ends with the two flying on Orville and cuddling.

Final Thoughts
My final thoughts are that they are not in love, and they do not know much about one another. All they know is that they enjoy one another's company and are attracted to one another. It is clear that it is just the beginning.

The Rescuers Down Under

First thoughts right after watching the Movie
My thoughts after watching this movie is that there is no development of this couple other than them getting engaged, but that was the goal for the entire movie. We barely see their relationship because (1. Cody and McLeach has most of the focus and 2. Jake flirts with Bianca which makes Bernard mad and he gets cock-blocked.) Nothing changed and it is just there.


Approxinately 12 years later, Bernard and Bianca are the best detectives in the Rescue Aid Society. They are at رات کے کھانے, شام کا کھانا at a restaurant and Bernard is about to propose to her, but the ring drops and rolls on the floor. As he goes to get it a waiter tells Bianca that the Rescue Aid Society put them on a case of a kidnapping in Australia, which she obviously accepts. He makes it back to the میز, جدول and she says she knows about everything and agreeing to it, which he thinks she is talking about the engagement. She drags him out of the restaurant and they walk to the meeting where she steps to the mic and tells everyone that they accept the case, where he finally realizes she was talking about the case and not the engagement. They go to "Orville" and eh says that they should wait; trying to stall (he is still afraid of flying). They read the sign on the door and it says "New Management", so they go اگلے door and they meet Wilbur. They tell him they need to go to Australia, but the bird is afraid to since they are in the middle of a snowstorm. They tell him about the kidnapped boy which convinces him to take them. When they finally reach to Australia, they meet Jake who is smitten with Bianca, and Bernard can tell he likes Bianca. Wilbur gets hurt and they take him to the hospital.


After leaving the hospital, Bernard looks at the weird amp and is confused سے طرف کی it. Jake asks Bianca if she is married, and she says no, which automatically causes him to push Bernard aside and to woo her. He tells her that she should follow someone who knows the land, and they take off with Bernard behind them. As they ride some animal I do not know the name of, Jake wraps his arms around Bianca which gets Bernard man. When we اگلے see them, Bianca is picking off prickly things off Bernard, and he says Jake has been gone too long, which she says he knows what he is doing, making him jealous. He uses this to his advantage and is about to propose to her again, but is pushed aside سے طرف کی Jake as a snake approaches them. Jake controls the snake, and makes it give them a ride to their destination. While on the snake, Jake rambles about himself to Bianca with Bernard way behind them. Many scenes later, they approach Cody for the first time at the bird's nest and tells him that McLeach is about to trap the bird, which he does. Cody jumps on the bird and is whisked with the trapped bird. Bianca and Jake decide to go to Cody while Bernard runs off to stop McLeach.


Bernard ran to switch the eggs, and rides the سؤر like Jake did earlier, learning something from the man who tried to take his girlfriend. The two mice and Cody are trapped in the cage, and Bianca tells Cody to not give up and Bernard will save the دن (I will discuss my issue with this movie on another day). Jake says good cover, not believing Bernard can save the day, but she says he does not know Bernard like how she does, and says to herself for Bernard to come quickly. They see Bernard and tells him to get the key while McLeach is distracted of trying to kill Cody. Bernard stops the machine just in time and throws it to them, struggling to hold the key. The two eventually escape the cage, but has to save Bernard and Cody from falling down the waterfall. McLeach falls down to his death via waterfall and the same thing is about to happen to Bernard and Cody, but they are saved سے طرف کی Bianca, Jake, and the bird they are flying. They all ride the bird, and Bernard proposes to Bianca, which she accepts.

Final Thoughts
My final thoughts about these two in this movie is that their relationship is barely there. We do not learn anything else about their relationship and when it does get focused, it is about Jake flirting with Bianca. The only thing that improved was them being engaged, but that was the goal in their very first scene. It does not improve off of the relationship established in the original. I know this film is not about romance, but this couple is the only one that has the opportunity to see growth in their relationship through a sequel (I am not counting the Direct to DVD sequels), but it is wasted.

مجموعی طور پر through the 2 movies, they are alright in the first film, almost non-existent in the second. There are better and worse animal couples in the canon.
