Emma Stone\'s stylist Petra Flannery thinks the star should wear menswear most of the time.

The two women appear in a glamorous shoot for The Hollywood Reporter, with the publication naming Petra one of the most powerful stylists in Hollywood.

Wearing a floral Lanvin dress, Emma poses alongside Petra, who\'s clad in a black dress from the fashion house, draped in pearl detail.

"Petra has taught me about quality and how nice it can be when you do tailor something a little bit, and that I should wear menswear most of the time," Emma divulged.

"It works well on you. It’s that Katharine Hepburn, Diane Keaton inspiration," Petra added.

To accompany the article, which also includes Kate Hudson and her stylist Sophie Lopez and Rita Ora and stylist Jason Rembert, Emma and Petra talk through some of their top fashion moments.

"I think the first major moment was the Globes when you wore the peach Calvin Klein dress," she said.

"Yeah that was the first time a dress had been specially made for me," Emma smiled.

"Yeah I feel like that\'s when we really had this moment and I remember Vogue pointed you out for that moment. It was pretty exciting," Petra added.

They also spoke about the outfit Emma wore to this year\'s Golden Globes, where she wowed the style crowd with a chic Lanvin jumpsuit.

"And it really kicked off something we didn\'t necessarily plan out but it turned into this menswear chic," Petra recalled.

"Well we love to take risks. We\'re risky ladies," laughed Emma.
