The way they treated Donnie and Mel ruined Niles and Daphne’s relationship for me, and I think Daphne was always a little bitter about how it all went down. While they seemed happy, Daphne changed a lot after getting together with Niles, and I stopped enjoying her character. I feel like I’m probably the only Frasier fan that doesn’t like them together. - machandroll I know this is said a lot, but I still think it’s devastating how much Daphne changed in the later seasons. The way he pined for her, it was just so well written and executed. But then they finally have the most iconic couple in all of sitcoms (IMHO) get together by having her leave her groom at the altar?
