George R. R. Martin writes on his Not A Blog that he was in LA recently to attend the 2013 Media Access Awards, where he accepted the “Visionary Award” on behalf of Thrones.
The Creative Arts Emmy ceremony was held in LA and the winners of all of the technical categories were announced. Game of Thrones was nominated for nine different Creative Arts awards and ended up taking ہوم the سونا for Best Main عنوان Design.
The Hugo Awards ceremony was held last night at this year’s Worldcon in Chicago & GoT took ہوم a statue! The Hugos are a prestigious set of awards دیا annually for the best science fiction یا fantasy works and achievements of the گزشتہ year.
Tonight’s wins came in the following categories: outstanding makeup (non-prosthetic), outstanding costumes, outstanding art direction, outstanding visual effects, outstanding sound editing and outstanding sound mixing.
