I really prefer the Godzilla of the Heisei series, even though I grew up with the Showa Godzilla. The Heisei Godzilla looks reptilian without entirely losing the leonine elements that are so characteristic of Godzilla's face, but far less cartoony than the Showa Godzilla (with its huge eyes). I only recently saw the millenium Godzilla - watching Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla - and while I liked the film, the millenium Godzilla looks entirely too Cardassian for my tastes.

I'm stuck in the past... I like the old Toho Godzilla, Mothra, Motra Twins, etc. I haven't really checked out any of the newer stuff.

definitevly the Heisei Godzilla with a reptilian look, but with some feline facial features (that strangely work!), and you gotta love those back plates.
