The hate on this spot has gotten ridiculous to say the least! We've got شائقین attacking each other over who they ship, people calling each other rude names & trashing each other because they don't agree on something, people messaging شائقین and harassing them etc.

ENOUGH ALREADY!



What happened to "If آپ don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." ?? {I don't mean for things where someone is ASKING for multiple opinions, but rather the instances of outright attacks for no reason} Have we completely forgotten our manners, یا do some people just not give a shit anymore?

Let me lay out in a simple way for everyone: {If you're not from the US, just substitute 2 of your countries rival sports teams}

Let's say I'm a Baltimore Ravens fan, and Lea (reddooralways) is a Washington Redskins fan. If we were to walk past each other on the street, each of us wearing our team Jersey, do آپ think it would be acceptable for either of us to start insulting each other because we rooted for different sports teams?? {Lea, i hope آپ don't mind me using آپ & i as examples! I figured it worked pretty well since we are friendly & we ship oppositely - Dair & Chair}



یا how about one better! Me and my mom watch a lot of shows together, and we don't always like the same couples. Let's use Brucas & Leyton from OTH as an example. Although I like LP now {still diehard BL'er♥} i didn't always like them whereas my mom has pretty much always liked LP. Do آپ think it would be okay for me to look at my mother and tell her she was a stupid کتیا, کتيا for shipping Leyton??

So if آپ wouldn't talk rudely to a random stranger on the streets, what suddenly makes it acceptable to talk rudely to a random stranger on the internet?



Nobody is perfect. We all have our bad days, sometimes we just snap and کتیا, کتيا out on somebody and then we regret it. That's NOT the problem here. The problem is the "repeat offenders", the people that have basically made a reputation for themselves سے طرف کی attacking and insulting anyone that doesn't share their same opinion. There's always someone in every fanbase, it's inevitable i know, but why be a part of that behavior?

Respect is huge to me. I take a lot of pride in دکھانا respect to others, and i have a lot of respect for other people that share that sentiment. I know I'm not the only one.

I know that the hate/dislike people feel for opposing couples isn't just going to magically disappear, but how about we try to keep it on the separate couple spots? If you're anti Derena & pro Serenate, how about آپ keep your ranting on the Serenate spot? Love Dair & hate Chair? Keep the negative تبصرے about CB on the Dair spot! Hate Dair & think Chair is the greatest couple ever? Leave the Dair bashing to the Chair spot!

I'm sure there are some people going, "But this is the GOSSIP GIRL SPOT! We should be able to hate on whoever یا whatever we want." but think about it - Does all this hating & fighting really help make this spot better?
