Guardians of the Galaxy: New Video and Set Images Reveal the real Drax, Ronan, and more!

With Guardians of the Galaxy being almost two weeks away, we\'re finally starting to see the good stuff: extended clips, heavily plot-revealing trailers and TV spots, and some pretty sweet pics. While Drax and Ronan seem to have been on the down-low for quite some time, we also sense their presence in the film in these latest reveals. Take a look at this set image of Dave Bautista and Chris Pratt as Drax and Star-Lord on set.

Drax looks pretty scraped up, especially on his arm, and Star-Lord\'s face and hand isn\'t looking too much better! With word on the street being that the final battle in Guardians of the Galaxy will be something bigger than the Avengers, the Winter Soldier, and featuring Star Wars-like action, could this be them mid-finale?

Nova Corps also seem to have a much more major role in this battle than we thought. After breaking out of a Nova Corps prison, it seems as though suddenly the Corps have asked for the help of the Guardians? Imagine the Nova Corps\' ships all battling Ronan\'s massive ship like it\'s some sort of Deathstar while the Guardians board the ship and destroy it from the inside.

HECK to the YES for storyline awesomeness. With Marvel & Star Wars owned by the same company now, they could even drop Star Wars easter eggs in the movie if they wanted to. Likely? Not in the slightest. Still fun to think about? Definitely.

Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters soon on August 1st, 2014.
