Harry, who was feeling distinctly hot in the face, said, "Whatever you've heard about my greatness is a load of rubbish. I'm not even سب, سب سے اوپر of my سال at Hogwarts; that's Hermione, she -" But he stopped quickly, because thinking about Hermione was painful.

"Ha!" کہا Harry under his breath, pleased to see Draco looking both abashed and angry.

"Dobby can't, sir, Dobby can't, Dobby mustn't tell!" squealed the elf. "Go home, Harry Potter, go home!"
"I'm not going anywhere!" کہا Harry fiercely. "One of my best دوستوں is Muggle-born; she'll be first in line if the Chamber really has been opened -"

Harry moved automatically toward Hermione.

Behind him walked a Slytherin girl who reminded Harry of a picture he'd seen in Holidays with Hags. She was large and square and her heavy jaw jutted aggressively. Hermione gave her a weak smile that she did not return.

[...] but Hermione and Millicent Bulstrode were still moving; Millicent had Hermione in a headlock and Hermione was whimpering in pain; both their wands lay forgotten on the floor. Harry leapt آگے and pulled Millicent off. It was difficult: She was a lot bigger than he was.

"I - I don't think I'm going to come after all. آپ go on without me." [Hermione]
"Hermione, we know Millicent Bulstrode's ugly, no one's going to know it's آپ -" [Harry]

"Hermione, are آپ okay?" کہا Harry through the door.

But Harry could tell from the arrested look on Hermione's face that she was thinking what he was thinking.

"Potter, I think you'd better come with me ......
Wondering how she could possibly suspect him this time, Harry saw Ron detach himself from the complaining crowd; he came running up to them as they set off toward the castle. To Harry's surprise, Professor McGonagall didn't object.
"Yes, perhaps you'd better come, too, Weasley .....

But Harry was only half-listening. He didn't seem to be able to get rid of the picture of Hermione, lying on the hospital بستر as though carved out of stone.

Everybody was in their pajamas, and the celebration lasted all night. Harry didn't know whether the best bit was Hermione running toward him, screaming "You solved it! آپ solved it!" [...]
