((What you're looking at is a special look at my first real fanfic. The story centers around my OC, Hailey Potter. It closely follows the original story
Please note that this is NOT the full chapter. This is only a first look.
So, this is just before the Battle of the Seven Potters. After the piece I'll explain.))


Hailey Potter pushed open the front door of Number four, سے privet, ساری پرائیوٹ Drive.
"Sorry I'm late, everyone," she announced, smiling in the direction of her brother. He smiled back. Just in that smile she could sense his worry.
Hagrid set Mundungus back down as Hailey lined up with the other fake Harrys. Her idea would make it even مزید convincing for the Death Eaters, but would also put her مزید at risk.

Still smiling, she took one of the glasses of Polyjuice Potion being passed around. The mudlike potion inside was gold. She raised her glass to Harry, then gulped it all down.
That's when the change began. She felt herself grow taller and مزید muscular. Other changes happened as well. Once the transformation was complete, she beckoned Harry off to one side.

"Well, at least we finally see eye to eye," he remarked, looking straight at her.
"Not for long," Hailey replied. "Besides, my part will be even مزید convincing after this."
With some difficuty she pulled her wand from her pants. It was ہولی and dragon heartstring, about ten and a hhalf inches and nearly identical to Harry's.
The plan was simple. Hailey and Harry would exchange wands. In the heat of battle (if it came to that), the Death Eaters probably would never tell the difference between the two wands. It meant that Harry would lose the protection of the twin cores.
However, Hailey was sure the Death Eaters would go for the Harry with the most protection. Hailey, as she was to go with Mad-eye, would be a prime target. She had to make this as convincing as possible.

Harry extracted his wand, and they switched. They waalked back to the rest of the Harrys, who were in the midst of changing clothes. Hailey joined them, wondering if this would بستر the last time she would see her twin brother alive.


((So. As I کہا before, this excerpt is just before the Battle of the Seven Potters. I really only made a few changes. First, in order for Hailey to be a part of it, I had to switch her with Dung.
Second, the wands. I can only say that this is probably my most clever bit. You'll have to wait for the full chapter to hear the full details.
