Who is Merlin?

I'm just curious if this was some historical figure یا just a British term when Ron says something like MERLINS PANTS! And THE ORDER OF MERLIN FIRST CLASS. I hear a lot and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what it's referring to.

because its common fantastic lore. Merlin was a powerful wizard who taught Arthur many important lessons about courage and love and intelligence, preparing him for the دن he would get Excalibur, a sword stuck in a stone, and become the King of Camelot(england according to disney). He then assisted Arthur in his many wars, who had victory assured due to the sword Excalibur and the advise of the wise wizard. Later Merlin confessed all his tricks to Morgana, a wood witch to whom he fell in love with, and she used this knowledge to trap merlin inside an oak. then King Arthurs kingdom fell.

okay, IF wikipedia really says this its insulting. Merlin was not a muggle born, for he is a character from another book.

your تفصیل was OK. beats the one from wikipedia over there. I still can't believe people wouldn't know who Merlin is. If آپ dont read کتابیں there are still plenty of movies, even disney made a very مقبول movie.
