- Viktor married a Bulgarian woman whose name is unknown.
- The name Viktor is a Slavic version of the name Victor which is derived from the Latin word victoris, meaning "conqueror".

Cedric Diggory:

- It is commonly believed that J.K. Rowling borrowed Cedric's last name Diggory from Digory Kirk from Narnia سے طرف کی C.S. Lewis, since he is کہا to be one of her favourite authors.
- Cedric is the very first death Harry witnesses in the book series, but in the movie Harry saw Quirrell die.
- In the film adaption of The Prisoner of Azkaban during the Quidditch match between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor the Hufflepuff-Seeker is hit سے طرف کی lightning.
