J.K. Rowling, مصنف of the مقبول Harry Potter series, revealed her پسندیدہ scene from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows novel when she contributed to The Birthday Book, published to mark the 60th birthday of the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.

An excerpt of the contribution is below:

I admit that, at first glance, the extract I've chosen for The Birthday Book might not seem particularly celebratory, دیا that it has for its subject my hero walking to what he believes will be certain death. But when Harry takes his last, long walk into the دل of the Dark Forest, he is choosing to accept a burden that fell on him when still a tiny child, in spite of the fact that he never sought the role for which he has been cast, never wanted the scar with which he has been marked. As his mentor, Albus Dumbledore, has tried to make clear to Harry, he could have refused to follow the path marked out for him. In spite of the weight of opinion and expectation that singles him out as the "Chosen One", it is Harry's own will that takes him into the Forest to meet Voldemort, prepared to suffer the fate that he escaped sixteen years before.

The destinies of wizards and princes might seem مزید certain than those carved out for the rest of us, yet we all have to choose the manner in which we meet life: whether to live up (or down) to the expectations placed upon us; whether to act selfishly, یا for the common good; whether to steer the course of our lives ourselves, یا to allow ourselves to be buffeted around سے طرف کی chance and circumstance. Birthdays are often moments for reflection, moments when we pause, look around, and take stock of where we are; children gleefully contemplate how far they have come, whereas adults look forwards into the trees, wondering how much further they have to go. This extract from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is my favourite part of the seventh book; it might even be my favourite part of the entire series, and in it, Harry demonstrates his truly heroic nature, because he overcomes his own terror to protect the people he loves from death, and the whole of his society from tyranny.

Well... maybe not. At least, I don't think he is.

I must admit, J.K. completely got me. I fell for it all, hook, line and sinker.

I waited on line at midnight on July 16 to be among the first to get a copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, like millions of others around the world, and I had it completely read سے طرف کی the afternoon of the اگلے day.

Caught up in the roller coaster of J.K.'s marvelous and fantastic mysteries, Snape's betrayal and the death of Dumbledore caught me completely سے طرف کی surprise. Dumbledore was dead, and on سب, سب سے اوپر of that, Snape had done it.

My brand-new copy of Half-Blood...

 Lavender
Lavender
This مضمون is my own thoughts about Lavender Brown, so basically I'm reviewing her here. She isn't that big of a character, but definitely has the right to be analyzed here because she has something to do with Ron.

Lavender Brown
We can start سے طرف کی introducing Lavender, and look in to her backstory a bit. Lavender is a pureblood witch that got sorted into Hogwarts, and wasn't noticeable for the first films but in the "Half Blood Prince" she appears to be a character that has a crush on Ron. She has blonde and curly hair, blue eyes, has a chubby face, usually ties her hair and wears cute headbands....

1. Ask him why he 'doesn't have such a cool scar?'
2. Laugh at him.
3. Wake him up سے طرف کی singing ساحل سمندر, بیچ Boys songs in his ear. 'Round, round, get around, I get around...'
4. Knit him things. Really hideous things.
5. Give him kangaroo-ears for a month.
6. Smile during Death-Eater meetings and say آپ taught him everything he knows.
7. Chew bubblegum all the time. Should he address you, your only response will be a series of huge bubbles in quick succession, the last of which will burst everywhere and make a mess.
8. Dance the Funky Chicken.
9. Ask him when was the last time he took a bath.
