After having a long discussion with my friend, I came across a pattern in the series. *Disclaimer: Despite the explosive post title, I actually like the whole idea of the houses as different personalities (and real people as fitting into them) a lot and don't think it's invalid. I just wanted to present a different reading of the houses and what they represent, which I think is equally valid. I also don't actually hate Slytherin and Ravenclaw as houses- so if آپ are in one of those houses I apologise and hope آپ can still see what I'm coming at here.*

Am I the only one who was deeply disappointed in the films characterization of Ginny Weasley?

I absolutely love book Ginny (GoF, HBP, DH). JK makes her a bright, fierce person but in the films, she doesn't seem to be anything like that. She's still reserved like she was in the first few films (which she was supposed to be) but they haven't made much of an effort to دکھائیں the change in Ginny as she matures.This (pardon my french) really damn well pisses me off.

They make an effort to دکھائیں the change in Neville and I think they done a really good job with him but I just don't see how they couldn't have put in the same amount of effort with Ginny.
